As the saying goes, "payback's a bitch." Especially when it's from two second generation Marauders. It'll hurt your ego a bit and teach you a lesson. Maybe even open your eyes to someone right in front of you. Your better half, a best friend.

While I spent a fair amount of my time this week working with Mia and Hermione to help Harry prepare for the first task this weekend, Charlie still decided he should have the right to take up more of my time and distract me from work. A prime example of this was my current situation. I am sat here under a tree, surrounded by parchment and books, trying to finish all of my homework before I go to meet up and help Harry. Charlie was perched in the tree above me, talking my ear off.
"Mum thinks I'm going to come back soon. She got it in her head that I was only going to stay in Romania for a few years. I have no clue who told her this, but it is entirely false." He groaned, picking some leaves. He let a few fall and land on my expanse of paper. "I don't know what to tell her. I feel bad, but this is MY life, not hers. I need to do what I want to do and that means living in Romania. What do you think?'
I grumbled something in response. I was only half listening as he spoke and I attempted to write an essay on the uses of African Sea Salt. I could care less about either so both my conversation and my essay sucked.
"Are you even listening Charlotte?" I heard the Weasley above me prod as he rustled around.
"Sort of. I'm trying to finish my work, but you're kind of getting in the way." I said honestly. There was no need for me to protect his feelings. He knows he's annoying me and that I have things to do, but he's still here.
"Do you want help?" He asked sweetly, dropping out of the tree to come sit beside me.
"Do you know anything special about African Sea Salt?" I asked, assuming the answer would be no. From the time I've spent with Charlie Weasley it has become apparent that animals are his strength, and he is very mediocre at everything else.
"I do not. What is that?" He questioned, leaning over to grab some of my papers. Of course, instead of leaving me alone to finish because he doesn't know anything, he actually chooses to become even more of an inconvenience.
"From what I know, it's salt extracted from a sea either bordering or in Africa. That's about all I know though... so I'm not writing much of an essay." I tried to explain. Charlie sent me a confused smile. He was barely ever not smiling.
"Sounds like potions work to me. Good luck." He laughed before tipping over dramatically to lay on his side, watching me.
"Aren't I boring you? You could go spend time with one of your siblings." I suggested, feeling a little guilty taking up his time when I wasn't even paying him my full attention. He could easily go spend time with Ginny. It was obvious the girl missed spending time with her brother. I bet even the twins would enjoy a little Weasley sibling bonding.
"They're all in class and I have no clue where Mia is, so you're stuck with me." He grinned, flicking some grass in my face, causing me to sputter at the gross herb taste it left in my open mouth.
