Two Dreams

~In Dreamswap~

Dream's POV:

I slowly woke up, my head feels a little dizzy. I look around the room, it was beautifully painted in yellow and white. I was sleeping in a yellow king-sized bed and sat up, wondering where I was.

I hear a knock on the door and it opened. There was a skeleton that almost looked like me except he had different clothes, big golden wings, and yellow eyes. He came near and sat beside me.

Dream: Who are you?

DS!Dream: I'm Dream.

Dream: What?! NO, I'm Dream!

We were both arguing about this for a while, then someone else came into the room, he looked a lot like Ink except his face is emotionless and he has no vials. He explained to us that I'm the original Dream from another Multiverse. The other me sighed.

DS!Dream: Since you're the original, might as well give me a nickname to avoid any confusion.

He stared at me, waiting for my answer so I hesitated and called him "Feathers".
The other Ink snickered a bit, but Feathers glared at him and sighed in agreement.
I also called the other Ink, "Blank" because of his expression.

He then told me that I can stay here as long as I wanted. Since this is a new Multiverse, I wanted to go around and check out the place. He agreed and told me to come back before sundown.

I was outside and I looked at the castle, it was very stunningly beautiful and golden. I stared in amazement for a few seconds and left towards the forest.

I hear snickering from the bushes, so I went to check it out. I saw two people and approached them carefully from behind. I touched him and he was startled, he looked at me and both him and his friend were shocked. I blinked and recognize them, they looked like Cross and Nightmare except this Nightmare wasn't corrupted and this Cross was shorter.
We stared at each other for a few seconds, the silence was a bit awkward so I broke it.

Dream: H-Hi, I'm Dream.

The two exchanged glances and stared at me deeply. One of them stood up and said.

DS!Nightmare: You're not Dream.

I quickly explained to them about me being the original Dream and they understood.

DS!Nightmare: Well since you're the original, you can call me "Midnight". This here is my friend Cross, you can call him "X".

Dream: Okay!

Midnight: Hey! Wanna help us prank JR?

Dream: JR?

Midnight: Justice Reigns, My brother owns that organization, we like to prank him real hard!

X: And get away laughing like lunatics!

Dream: Sounds fun!

Midnight: And I know the perfect prank!

3rd Person POV:

They lead Dream to their house, it was a two-story house painted in dark colors. The living room was a bit of a mess but the rooms were a bit messier. Midnight went to his room and grabbed clothes similar to his brother's. X was just finishing up some golden wings. With all of this, Dream can actually guess what the prank was.

~One Hour Later~

They finally finished their crafts, they asked Dream to put it on. He looks a lot like Feathers now except his eyes. Midnight whispered the plan.

A guard from JR was on patrol near the forest. Dream got up and faced the other way from the guard with his arms crossed. The guard stopped and greeted him.

Guard: My lord! *kneels* What are you doing here?

Dream: *deepens voice* I am here to ask you that. Aren't you supposed to be guarding the lake?

Guard: O-oh I'm sorry sir! I'll be there!

The guard left to go to the lake. Midnight and X were laughing hysterically and Dream snickered a bit. They proceeded to fool almost every guard they came across.
It was nearly sundown and Dream went back to the castle.

Feathers was looking around because some of the guards were missing. Dream told him that maybe they were at the lake. And he was right, Guards were gathered around the lake.
Feathers was furious and shouted at the guards.

Feathers: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU ALL SLACKING AROUND FOR?!

The guards pleaded for his mercy, Feathers just scoffed and let them off with a warning. The guards were grateful and went back to the palace.
