Dear Beauty Queen,

Are you happy? Do you feast on the benefits of your blessings? Is it how we imagine?

Are you complete? Does your image attract the kind of love we all yearn for? Does it give you everything you've ever wanted? Tell me.

Don't tell me it doesn't. If it doesn't, well, then how could any of us attain what we set out to? If beauty doesn't bestow love then what does? How can I be loved? Who can love me, if not for my admirers?

What is the point of your admierers if not the love they are supposed to give? It's not unconditional love, yes, that much is obvious, but isn't it love all the same?

Does your calendar write itself out? Does your phone ring off the hook? Does your lock screen write pages of compliments awaiting your busy eyes?

Does your beauty give you what you thought it would? Does it give you everything you've ever wanted? Does it give you all you want, or ever will want?

Is your beauty all you want it to be? Is it all that you need?

Is your beauty enough for your peers? Is it enough for you?

We all know how your admirers feel about your features, how they're arranged in such a pleasing way across your strong cheek bones and perfect skin. But has anyone ever imagined that maybe you don't feel the same way at all? Those compliments, the ones that come flooding in, do they patch your holes or do that create other ones instead?

I could be wrong, I mean your beauty must be everything you've ever wanted, but could I be correct to think that maybe you can't have what you want with bartering the sight of your body alone? Does the imagination of your peers place the added weight of short comings onto your hopes of where your beauty may take you?

Is your beauty a ticket to where you want to go? Or is it an expired pass to dream land?
For some reason, I imagine what the answers to this maybe, but I can't wait for your reply.

See you soon,
Yours Truly
