Chapter 18: Beauty and the Beast

**Time Skip* It's the next day, Saturday, and Ricky and Chloe just arrived at Nini's house to pick her up*
Nini: *I walk outside to the car* Hi Ricky!
Ricky: Hey! Ready to go?
Nini: Yep! Is Chloe in the car?
Chloe: Hi Nini!
Nini: Chloe! I missed you! Ricky isn't as cool as you *laughs*
Chloe: he wishes he was!
Ricky: I do wish I was *laughs*
Nini: *laughs Who's ready for Beauty and The Beast?
Chloe: Me! Come on Nini! Do you want to sit with me in the back?
Nini: You gonna be okay up front alone, Ricky?
Ricky: yeah I'm fine *laughs*
Nini: *laughs* Ok *I kiss Ricky's cheek* Come on Chloe, let's go get in the car!
Chloe: *I follow Nini*
Ricky: *I get in and start driving*
Chloe: *to Nini* So how are you doing
Nini: I'm doing great! I've had a pretty good week. What about you?
Chloe: great! Ricky's been teaching me guitar and I've been working on my new dance routine.
Nini: Chloe, I'm so proud of you! Am I gonna be able to come see your show?
Chloe: yeah, you and Ricky are coming
Nini: I'm so excited! You're such a good dancer
Chloe: you havn't seen me dance yet
Ricky: I told her you were
Chloe: oh, well I can't wait till you come see it
Nini: Neither can I

*we get West High*

Nini: Hey Ricky, can I talk to you before we go inside?
Ricky: sure.. hey Chloe give us a minute okay
Chloe: ok I'll just stand right here
Ricky: *to Chloe* don't move *to Nini* what's up ?
Nini: What if there's people you know here? People that know fake you. What would they say if they saw you with your tutor?
Ricky: I don't think I'll know anyone from East High here... if anything I'll run into kids that made fun of me in elementary... I mean these were the kids that knew the real me. You don't have to worry about anything
Nini: What if you see one of them? A kid that bullied you
Ricky: that was forever ago... they probably forgot and if they didn't, I'll pretend like I did
Nini: Okay, sorry to get all worried about nothing
Ricky: No, I actually really appreciate you looking out for me *laughs*
Nini: Then you're welcome *laughs* Now come on, I'm ready to go see the show!
Ricky: come on Chloe
Chloe: Can we go in now?
Ricky: Yep *I hold out my hand to Chloe*
Chloe: *I take it* Nini! *I hold out my other hand to Nini*
Nini: *I take Chloe's hand* We ready?
Chloe: lets go!
Ricky: my two favorite girls in the world
Nini: *smiles* You're my favorite boy in the world *I kiss Ricky's cheek*
Chloe: Hey! No time for kissing!
Ricky: *I kiss the top of Chloe's head* why not?
Chloe: You're not supposed to do it in front of me, or in that case, above me!
Ricky: she only kissed my cheek
Chloe: Just- because *laughs*

*we walk in and take our seats*

Chloe: can I sit by Nini?
Nini: Of course Chloe! How about I go in the middle. That way I can sit by both of you
Chloe: okay!
Ricky: why do you always want to ditch me?
Chloe: I've known you forever and Nini's a newer friend
Ricky: good point *laughs*

*the show starts*

Ricky: *I lean my head on Nini's shoulder*
Nini: *whispers* You comfy Ricky?
Ricky: *I look up at you* *whispers* I am *smiles*
Nini: you're so weird *smiles*
Ricky: *laughs a little* *whispers* oh, is that Kourtney?
Nini: *whispers* Yep, the one and only
Ricky: oh I've seen her before when I've come to get Red or something. She actually... wait!
Nini: *whispers* Shhhhh quiet down *laughs a little*
Ricky: *whispers* she was in my 5th and like 6th grade class
Nini: *whispers* Really?
Ricky: *whispers* yeah! I don't think we ever talked and she definitely wasn't someone who bullied me or whatever but I know it's her.
Nini: *whispers* Yeah, she's one of nicest people I know. I've known her since I was in like kindergarten
Ricky: *whispers* that's insane
Nini: I guess it's a small world
Ricky: it really is
Chloe: SHHH!
Ricky: *laughs a little*
Nini: *whispers* We should probably stop talking
Ricky: *whispers* yeah... but I like talking to you
Nini: *whispers* But I also wanna watch the show
Ricky: *whispers* fineeee
Nini: *whispers* Thank you *smiles*
