Chapter 19: Monster

**Time Skip* The weekend is over and it's Monday during school.*
Ej: Yo Ricky!
Ricky: hey Ej what's up?
Ej: Nothing much. So, what'd you do this weekend?
Ricky: I just chilled at home and watched random shows and stuff. You?
Ej: About the same. Oh, and my cousin came over on Sunday to hangout
Ricky: oh cool. What did you guys do?
Ej: Not much. She did talk about her school Musical or whatever. Said she met someone named Ricky, and if I heard her correctly, his girlfriend Nini. Crazy right, you happen to know anyone with those names?
Ricky: *shit!! HOW WOULD SHE- ASHLYN?! Oh my god no* You think that's me and miss 100?
Ej: I'm pretty positive it's you two. She said that they both went to East High and that Ricky had a little sister named Chloe. Isn't your annoying sister's name Chloe?
Ricky: You can't be serious. You seriously think I'd be with Nini and my sister at some high school play on Saturday night?
Ej: Just stop with the act Ricky, I know it was you
Ricky: I DON'T LIKE NINI!
Ej: Then why were you with her Saturday night?!
Ricky: I WASN'T. Why do you even care so much. I don't fu*king like Nini okay? She's just my dumbass tutor I have to deal with everyday after school
Ej: I don't fu*king believe you. Who else do you know that goes to East High and is named Ricky? You're the only Ricky here. And she's the only Nini. You were with her and I know you're lying
Ricky: whatever man, don't believe me then
Ej: Why don't you tell me about your girlfriend Ricky
Ricky: For the last time, Nini is not my girlfriend!
Ej: Stop lying!
Ricky: I'm not!
Ej: Just admit it, you're dating Nini!
Ricky: what the fu*k Ej, why can't you just believe me
Ej: Because I know you're lying. You and Nini are dating!
Ricky: WE'RE NOT! UGH EJ SHUT UP ALEADY! I'll prove it to you, right here right now. *I walk over and kiss some random girl standing around watching us*
Girl: what the fu- *kisses back*
Ricky: *Continues to makeout with this girl until he spots... Nini*

~moments before~
Nini: -and Chloe seemed to really enjoy the show too
Gina: That's so sweet. I really need to meet this Chloe. You basically worship her *laughs*
Nini: I don't worship her *laughs* she's just the sweetest little girl I've ever met. And Ricky's bond with her is my favorite thing in the world.
Gina: I know its been like a month but it's still crazy to think of Ricky as this sweet boy with a baby sister *laughs*. We've both known him as the failing jerk since freshman year
Nini: Same *laughs* It is weird but I'm so happy with him. He's just so- where is all that yelling coming from?
Gina: I don't know, lets go investigate.
Nini: I don't know if i wanna get involved with whatevers going on. For all we know, fists could be thrown *laughs*
Gina: You're probably right *laughs*
Nini: *I hear my name brought up in whatevers going on* Did they say-
Gina: lets go
*Nini and Gina walk over*

Nini: *No, this isn't- he- he's cheating one me?*
Ricky: *looks at Nini in shock*
Ej: Damn, no need to get crazy on me. Fine... I believe you... for now
Ricky: just leave me alone Ej. You saw how I'm not into Nini at all. I'm still your failing student who only finds pleasure in hooking up with random girls
Ej: *laughs* Okay I get it. You don't like Nini.
Nini: *walks over to Ricky* Um Mazzara needs to have another meeting about tutoring.
Ej: stop taking Ricky away! He doesn't like you and he hates every minute he has to spend with you. Just leave him alone
Ricky: leave me alone Nini
Nini: You wanna know what, I think this meeting was supposed to be about ending our sessions anyways. So you're free Ricky, no more hour long, sessions of torture with me, we're done. So you're free to go back to being you and doing whatever the hell you do after school because you don't have to see me ever again
Ricky: I-
Ej: aye you got out of it! *laughs*
Nini: Bye Ricky *walks away while starting to cry*
Ej: It's over dude! You'll never have to spend time with her ever again!
Ricky: yeah... I gotta- I gotta go see a teacher about something
Girl (the one Ricky kissed): wait Ricky-
Ricky: shut it Kirsten! I'll see you later Ej
Ej: See you later Bowen!
Ricky: *walks away*
Gina: *Where did she-* *walks up to Nini* oh my god Nini are you okay?
Nini: *wipes eyes* Yeah, I'm fine. I gotta go see a teacher. Bye Gina
Gina: okay I- please call me
Nini: Sure, okay *walks away*
Ricky: *sees Nini and runs toward her* NINI WAIT!
Nini: *keeps walking*
Ricky: *I put my hand on your shoulder* Nini let me explain-
Nini: NO! *I pull away* You've done enough. Ricky, you said you weren't gonna break my heart. Why did you lie? You said I came before your social status. Again, why did you lie? I sat and listened every single time you had to make fun of me, when you called me annoying, when you said you hated me. I knew that it wasn't true but I listened, and I let the words eat away at my soul and heart. Do you know how shitty I felt after listening to you? I felt horrible about myself, I felt the same way I did before I started tutoring you. I didn't even think that was possible. But I- that was the final straw. You've completely broken my heart. You let it fall apart and didn't think about the consequences. You cared more about your stupid fake friends and you broke me. Into a million pieces.
Ricky: I never lied Nini. You are worth more then my social status, and you do mean the world to me. I'm so sorry you had to listen to all of that and see me-. Nini, I love hanging out with you and being with you and spending every minute with you. God damnit, I love you Nini. I'm just still not ready to share the real me with everyone else. I did that only to prove to Ej we weren't a couple, it meant nothing. I just need more time-
Nini: Well you don't get more time, we're done. I'm not your tutor anymore, and definitely not your girlfriend. *sniffles* So go tell all your friends that you did it, you broke Miss 100's heart *starts to walk away*
Ricky: Nini I- *I stop myself and watch you walk away* *Fu*k you Ricky Bowen*
