Y/n POV
I loved the river that Two had showed me. It was so calming and peaceful. After cuddling together at its bank for a while, Two-bit and I decided to go to a drive in movie.
"That'd be fun" Two-bit told me when I suggested it, which made me smile. I was then somehow reminded of when we told the gang about us a couple of weeks ago...

~Flashback~

Two and I had talked, and finally decided that it was time to tell the gang about us. We walked into my house from being out for most of the day, the DX job giving me more time to hang out now, and I said "hey guys we want to tell you something". They all looked over at us with questioning expressions, "we're dating" I spoke quickly, to just get it over with. Some of them wore faces of shock, while others you could tell had known all along.

"Wow Two-bit can get a girl who knew?" Steve said laughing, while Soda threatened him "you hurt her and we kill you".
"I would never do that" Two replied fidgeting with his fingers nervously, while Dally nudged my shoulder and said "I had a feeling". Johnny and Pony were the only ones to say congratulations to us, and that just left Darry. He looked pretty shocked by the news, and then asked to talk to me.

Alone.

I agreed hesitantly and we went to his room.
"Y/n, I don't want you getting distracted by him now. You're doing pretty good with your job and everything right now, and I just don't want him to get in the way at all". I didn't know if I should've taken that as a compliment or an insult, so I took it as an insult.

"Well for your information Darrel, we've been dating for two weeks already and my performance has been perfectly fine, as you said. So don't worry about it because it clearly isn't affecting me like you think it will, why do you always have to find something to yell at me about?" I spat and stormed out of his room, back to Two.

I hugged him tightly, him returning it a second later taken aback by it at first.
"I love you more than anything" I whispered into his ear still hugging him, "I love you too" he responded softly which made me smile.

I knew he was definitely going to distract me.
Man, I love that boy.

We let go of our hug to see Soda giving Steve five dollars, "did you bet on us?" I asked them with a laugh, genuinely surprised, and Steve smirked at me and nodded. I shook my head at them, "I shouldn't even be surprised" I laughed, and we spent the rest of the night hanging out with everyone.

~End of Flashback~

We were now walking to the drive in. We were pretty close when a group of Socs started eyeing me up and down. Two's eyes grew envious, and I immediately went to calm him down, reassuring him that nothing would happen. Then they started to follow us, and we started to walk a bit faster.

"Hey baby come here with us" one of them called to me. I chose to ignore it, but Two-bit turned around and punched the guy right in the face.
"Run to the gate, I'll meet you there!" He yelled to me and I took off. I had been waiting for a couple of minutes by myself, and I was growing anxious. Then I heard footsteps running in my direction.

God please don't let it be the socs.

I let out a sigh of relief, seeing that it was just Two-bit. I smiled at his arrival, he didn't appear to be in too rough shape, just a bloody nose and some scratches.
"Ready to go?" Two asked me nonchalantly, and I smiled and shook my head laughing at him "yup". We then crawled under the fence, found some seats, and sat down. We joked around together for a while, but finally decided to do what we had come here for and watch the movie.

That's when I felt Two-bit place his hand on mine. I kissed his cheek and asked "are you sure you don't want me to get something to clean your face?" "Babe I'm sure, now relax and enjoy the movie" he reassured me and kissed my hand that he was still holding.

We focused on the movie for a little while longer until we both grew a little hungry.
"Want some popcorn?" I asked him, and he nodded saying "want me to come with?" "No that's alright" I said starting to get up.
"Are you sure?" He asked again, wanting to stay by my side "yeah I'll be fine" I told him with a shrug.
"Ok well then, I'm paying for it" he somehow persuaded me and I gave in "ugh ok fine" and turned to walk to the snack stand.

I got our popcorns and walked back to our seats, until I saw something horrifying. My body froze in place as the scene before me played out.

I saw Two-bit kissing that no good soc girl, Marcia.
