Hi, this is my first bl story so i hope you will like it. If you like my story than please give a star and tell me what you think. THANK YOU ❤️
It began with a whisper in the dark-
Not a voice, not a dream. Just a gentle nudge on the edge of sleep, as if the universe itself were trying to wake him.
"Sir... wake up. Please... Sir, you have a guest."
The boy stirred beneath the soft folds of his blanket, voice muffled and groggy.
"What happened...? Why are you waking me up? Let me sleep..."
"Sir, someone from Thailand has come to see you..."
That word-Thailand-cut through the fog like lightning.
He sat up too fast, blinking, heart thudding in his chest. "Thailand? What the hell? Why would someone from Thailand come all the way here to the States?!"
His black hair clung to his forehead, sleep still hanging heavy on his lashes. His shirt slipped off one shoulder, revealing the smooth curve of his collarbone. But all of that faded the second he saw who stood at the door.
"Mew?"
The name fell from his lips like a prayer.
He rushed forward, arms flung around the boy in front of him. Same height. Lighter skin. Warmer eyes. Mew radiated that same soft light Gulf remembered-gentle and familiar, like sunlight filtering through closed curtains.
"Hey, my dear Mew! When did you get here? Why didn't you tell me? I would've picked you up from the airport!"
Mew chuckled, brushing Gulf's hair from his face. "Ah, Gulf... If I'd told you, I wouldn't get to see this adorable surprised face. And this sexy, messy version of you."
Gulf grinned, mischievous. "You think I'm sexy?"
"I said what I said."
"Then... you wanna date me?"
"No."
"Ouch. You just called me sexy."
"Still no," Mew replied, but his voice softened with affection.
Gulf sighed dramatically. "Fine, fine. So what brings you here?"
Mew's smile faded.
"Your father sent me. He's not doing well. He wants you back in Thailand... to take over the company."
A long pause.
Then: "No."
"What?"
"I said no."
"You can't be serious-"
"I'm not going back."
"Gulf-"
"I said I'm not coming!"
"WHEN-" Mew's voice cracked like a whip, frustration finally surfacing. "When did I ask if you wanted to come?!"
Everything changed.
Gulf's expression went blank. Then twisted. His eyes dimmed. His posture shifted-stiffer. Off.
"You dare raise your voice at me... you fucking boy?"
Mew's stomach dropped. "...Gulf?"
But he already knew. That voice. That look.
"Kana..." Mew whispered. The name tasted like ash in his mouth.
The boy in front of him smirked, tilting his head. "What? Did you forget me already?"
"Why is he out?! Damn it-when Gulf gets startled, Kana wakes..."
Kana stepped forward with predatory calm, trailing his fingers across Mew's jaw. "Still scared of me?" His touch was soft, but it carried a threat just beneath the surface. Like silk over a blade.
"I'm not... afraid of you..." Mew lied, voice trembling.
Kana leaned in, pushed Mew back onto the bed, lips crashing against his in a hungry, almost violent kiss. His hands moved quickly-too quickly-grabbing at Mew's shirt, his breath hot, his weight pressing down.
Then-
Rrrrrring!
A phone blared from the desk.
With a growl, Kana pulled away and snatched it up.
"Yeah, old man. What is it?"
"KANA?! WHY THE HELL ARE YOU OUT?! WHERE'S GULF?!"
"Oh, that?" Kana said with a chuckle. "This fucking boy startled him. So I took over for a while."
"Mew's with you, isn't he? If you TOUCH him, I swear-"
"You've been trying to kill me for years, haven't you?" Kana's voice dipped into laughter, dark and cold. He hung up.
He turned back. "Now... where were we, my dear fucking boy-"
But he staggered mid-step, clutching his head. "Argh...!"
His knees buckled. His vision blurred. With a groan, he collapsed.
Mew caught him before he hit the ground, easing him back onto the bed, hands trembling.
His face was soaked in tears. "I'm sorry, Gulf... I'm so sorry. This is my fault. I never should've left you alone. I wish I could change everything..."
The silence was broken by a soft voice.
"Mew...?"
His heart stopped.
"Gulf?"
"Mmm... it's me. What happened? Why are you crying like that...?"
"Kana came out..." Mew whispered. "He almost... I couldn't stop him..."
Gulf's eyes widened. He sat up, hands flying over Mew's body, checking him.
"Did he touch you? Did he hurt you?!"
"No... I'm okay. He didn't get to do anything. But Gulf... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry..."
Mew collapsed to his knees. All his strength vanished.
But Gulf dropped beside him, arms wrapping around him tight.
His voice was low, steady, and full of something that Mew hadn't heard in a long time.
"It's okay. I'm here now. It's not your fault. You're safe. I've got you. I'm back. It's okay..."
They stayed like that-entangled in sorrow, guilt, and something unspoken-until the night began to fold around them again.
But none of them noticed what lurked in the shadows.
Not in the corners of the room.
Not in the quiet shift behind Gulf's eyes.
Not in the subtle twitch in his fingers.
Kana was gone...
But not buried.
And next time, he wouldn't wait for an invitation.
