"Heard you're taking Bella out." Daniel slammed James's locker shut to get his attention.
"Man... What the fuck. I wasn't done using it." James ignored. Daniel just stared at him blankly, still trying to get an answer. "You heard about it already?"
"Words travel fast." Daniel shrugged then leaned towards the locker right next to James's.
"Yah, whatever." James rotated himself around and tried walking away.
"I told you not to fuck with her." He reminded, stopping James in place.
"Why do you care?" James turned around, facing Daniel again.
"What do you mean? We've all been so close since elementary." He took a step forward."I know you and Bella have your own history but come on! You need to stop fucking with her feelings."
"Pfff... What do you know about feeling." James raised an eyebrow.
Daniel's head tilted backwards, resting on the royal blue locker "I don't know man. I just think it's just cool to have someone to talk to. I don't expect you to understand this stuff-"
"Hey, you know you have me right? If there's something that you're going through-" James's tone softened. His eyebrows drew together with concern.
"I really appreciate that but emm... But." Daniel's cheeks flushed with embarrassment from the topic. I'm talking about something else. I don't know it's just different." He rubbed the back of his neck with his palm which was a clear sign of hesitation from Daniel.
"Aww such a softie." James mocked in a high pitch tone.
Daniel shot him a glare "Eat a dick." James chuckled in response. "But I'm being serious about Bella." Daniel warned, his voice was low and he sounded dark. His eyes were fully focused into James's.
"Fine." He gave in just for Daniel's sake."But I'm still taking her out through. I kinda promised her."
"What day are you taking her anyway." Daniel draped his muscular arm around James's lean shoulders.
"Saturday." He whipped his head towards Daniel while they made their way towards their next lesson."Which means on Sunday we can get high." He said with a smug smirk on his face. Daniel nodded his head in agreement.
"Spencer coming?" Asked Daniel.
"No, he's trying to hit on Amy now. He has some plan to wow her in the weekend." James revealed.
"Wait, didn't he try to hit on Bella in the Halloween party." Both of Daniel's eyebrows slid up.
"Yup." James answered with a one big nodded. Remembering how he threatened him afterwards and that little fight with Bella which he had to make up for. And of course, how can anyone forget about the time Daniel violently hit Owen in front of everyone in the party after he tried to pressure Amy and shoved Delilah. It was so big everyone was talking about it. Even weeks after.
"Well, that's just Spencer." Daniel shrugged. "He really thinks he can impress Amy." He chuckled. "What's he planning on doing? Oh, wait... Don't tell me. He's going to read her a fucking poetry like he did with Kelsey."
