THUMP THUMP. My eyes popped open, someone was knocking on the door. Jason. Waking me up for school, damn this kid never forgot. "Go away!!" I yelled at the door. The alarm clock showed 6:30. Why on earth would I wake up this early? "School starts at 8, not 7!! Go away Jason." I closed my eyes and nestled into the pillow. The door slammed open. He's damn persistant isn't he? I threw a pillow into the direction of the door. "Nice welcome Angel. Thanks"
I sat up in bed, JAKE?! "JAY BEAR!! What are you doing here?"
His chuckle filled up the silence of the room. His voice...damn! That chuckle, has me melting.SAM FOCUS! "Damn, you really do look like an angel when you wake up." I stuck my tongue out at him. My hair probably resembled a birds nest, and considering I didn't remove my make up yesterday, it's probably smudged all around my eyes. "Gee...thanks Jay Bear, I love your sarcasm. Now get out, I'll get up an hour later." I pushed him away and buried my head deeper into the pillow and wrapped the duvet round tighter. He chuckled once again.
"Not happening Angel." He pulled my hand and pulled me out of bed. Thump. My butt hit the cold floorboards. He didn't just do that!! Urgh!!!
"You should have just not done that." I picked myself up. His eyes widended and bolted towards the door. "Yeah, thats right. Run pretty boy. Run!" I ran after him. As he ran down the hallway, I jumped onto his back, causing the two of us to fall to the ground with a thud. Me being on his back."Sam, you kinda weigh, wanna get off." I smacked him on the head.
"Nope. I ain't budging till you apologise." I retorted. He grinned.
"Not happening. NEVER!!!" he cackled.
"Well, well, well... what do we have here?" I looked up to see Leah grinning. Shit! We are in such an awkward position. It looks so wrong! Shit!!
"It's not how it looks, he came to wake me up and...." I fumbled to explain. Jake was silently laughing under me. I smacked his head. "Help me explain this then." I scolded him.
"Quit smacking my head. What can I do? Basically, Angel here has a major crush on me. So me, being the innocent guy that I am, was walking down the hallway, when out of nowhere he jumped on me and next thing I know. She's straddling me. See she's still not getting off!" My jaw dropped. What a liar!! I punched his arm. I'm not getting off till he
"Liar!" Me and Leah both chorused. I winked at her. She has my back already. Love her.
"Jake never lies. Right Bro?" Alex added. Jake and him started to laugh. I twisted Jake's ear. "Apologise. Now."
He shook his head. "Ouch! Sam my ear. No, No can do." he replied. I narrowed me eyes. Is that how you want to be, fine. I twisted his ears even more. "Now?"
"Ouch, ouch Sam. My ear. Fine sorry, okay? now leave my ear."
"Sure." I swung my leg round to the side and got off him. "See Jay Bear, listen to Sam, and life will be easy."

As we entered the school gates, Ashlin ran to Alex. He held her in a bone crushing hug. "Ash, baby. I missed you so much." Ashlin looked up at his face. She held his face and pulled his face closer to hers, before kissing him on the lips. After roughly 30 seconds, she pulled apart. "I missed you too." She whispered.
After a while Ashlin asked "Where you staying Lex?" Alex looked at me for a moment before answering. "You know I told you I was staying at one of my dads friends house, well, it turns out, that friend is actually Sams dad. So i'm staying at Sams." On the ride to school, Alex explained how he was worried on how Ashlin would respond, to this. We all looked at her face to see her reaction.
"You're staying at Sam's house?" Ashlin repeated. Shit! Is she gonna be one of those extra protective girlfriends and go crazy? "That is soooo cooooll!!!" she squeled and started to jump up and down. I looked at Leah for an explanation to her hype. She shrugged her shoulders. We all looked to Ashlin for an explanation. "That means I can tell my parents I'm staying at yours but actually spend time with Alex. Duh." We all laughed at her explanation.
The bell rang and we all hurried into the building. "Lee, I can't find my text book, you go, I'll see you there." She nodded and rushed to class.
"I'll wait for you." A husky voice offered. Jake. "To make up for this morning of course." I rolled my eyes.
"Sure." I finally found the textbook. Jake snatched it out of my hand. "I'll hold it." I shrugged my shoulders. "Fine by me." As we walked down the hallway. My phone began to ring. I sifted through my handbag and answered the phone. "Hello." I waited for a reply. An automated voice began to talk "You have recieved a reversed call charged from Mulwood Hall Juvenile prison, do you accept?" I felt my blood run cold. The phone slipped through my fingers. My knees buckled as I fell to the ground. "Sam?! You okay?!" Jake hurriedly asked. Black spots covered my sight. I felt myself slip into unconsiousnes, "Sam, who was it?". I opened my mouth to answer, yet the sound of my heartbeat filled my ears. "James..." I whispered as I felt myself sink into darkness.
