Viviana's out burst spread pretty quickly throughout our two households, but I didn't let it bother me. In reality, it made me glad that I would be leaving this house tonight as well as Viviana and her possessiveness over me. And to think, I was about to stop every thing and just stay with Viviana. My guilt was eating me away with how much I had hurt Viviana and I almost caved into it again, but then she pulled me out of that cave herself and I was grateful.

The news of her outbreak was quick to reach my parents and it wasn't long before they entered my room and saw the condition the door was in.

"Mio Dio!" My mother gasped upon seeing the door and my father had the same expression. "Viviana did that?" She asked pointed at the door.

I nodded and picked up the last box from the ground and moved it over to bed to set it down. "Yup, but what else could you expect from her, she has Uncle Salvatore in her."

I glanced over at my dad and I could see steam coming out of his ears with seeing what she had done. For him, Viviana had crossed the line by breaking the door like that, especially not too far from me. "I need to have a word with her." He replied sternly. "I invite her into my home and my family and this is how she treats us, especially on your birthday." He began to turn around to leave but I stopped him.

"Dad, don't worry about it, please?" I asked and just then, my mother came to the rescue and went by my father's side and held his arm, settling down his anger. "Viviana was just upset because it's my last day here and she doesn't want me to leave."

"Ma tesoro," My mother started. "I thought you said that she was starting to understand the situation and beginning to be okay with everything."

I shrugged my shoulders, "I guess I was wrong, but it's fine anyways. I'm going to be gone by tonight, living away from her and she'll just be by herself sitting in misery." I paused and hesitated to continued. "Can we cancel the reservations and us three can just have dinner here? I love Uncle Salvatore and Aunt Elena, but I think we need to keep this birthday dinner just between the three of us. It's what caused Viviana to lash out and I think if we all went, it would just make matters worst."

My dad sighed and nodded, "Okay, I'll go call them and let them know." He kissed my mother on the side of the head and left my room.

I sighed and sat down on the bed and soon my mother follow my actions. "Honey, do you still want to go through with this? If it caused Viviana to do this, what else could she possibly do while you're away?" She asked.

I shook my head and looked over at her, "I thought about it, trust me, but I have to do this. Today proved it, all Viviana's mind consist of is me and her place in the Mafia. If I can have a chance away from her, then I'll take it."

She sighed before moving her hand to rub her forehead. "We're just worried about you. Especially your father, I've never seen him like this, not since you're birth."

I chuckled at her comment. At my birth, my father was so worried about my mother and me as well because just a couple of days before my birth, he found himself reading books about childbirth. And well, the books got to him, so when my mom went to labor, his mind went straight to the book. "I know, he's already talked to me about it. But, I promise, I'll be safe. I'll call you every weekend if it makes you feel better."

My mother nodded, "Please do, especially call your father. It would relieve him of some stress of having you away."

I smiled and nodded. Just when I was about to continued with our conversation, my father entered my room with his phone in his hand and held a face of disbelief. I looked at him confused, "Everything okay?"
