Cade smiles, and just as I'm about to melt in a puddle on the floor, three other handsome men storm through the door, laughing their heads off and covered in mud. Cade chuckles at the three of them, and they tackle Cade lovingly. The four brothers. Just great. Wonderful. Mud all over the floor. I take a sip of my lemonade and watch them.

Flashes of memories flood through my mind, my breath turning raggedy, but Haven and her men walk in, breaking me out of my train of thought. My train of thoughts ending into an endless tunnel of sorrow, desperation, and war. I gulp, feeling out of place from the family that has been put in place here.

My team in Iraq was like that. Everyday, putting our lives at risk, it brings strangers together. At first, we were all strangers. Just kids who were looking for a place to be saved. And then we all got our first mission, we all met each other, and we became an unbreakable, unstoppable family.

Until...until that day. Until everything went to shit because of one mistake. My mistake. After that, the family was broken. With one short moment, the trust and bonds shared was taken out each one of us, until we were nothing. 'Till we were used, ragged dolls. Useless.

"Rocky! Have you met the boys?"

"I've met Cade."

Soon, the three other brothers looked at me. The eldest, it seems, was tan with brown hair, but bright blue eyes. He's dominating, for sure. He has this ability to capture an audience with his charm, but keeps it with his mannerisms.

"Jace. Eldest brother."
