Cade. He's difficult to wrap up in a few words. He's protective as hell. If Cade was in love with you, there is no way you could have a dangerous job. He would lock you in his room to make sure that you didn't go to work. But he's sensitive. Little things bother him. Little things in romantic relationships, such as forgetting a birthday.

And outside of relationships. Like slamming the front door closed. He hates being lied to and freaks when something isn't exactly how it seems. Sensitive, but protective and all around calm. Relaxed. Intimidating with his physique but soft. A good safe place.

And last not but not least, Beck. He's been protected by his brothers most of his life. He was hurt by their parents' death, greatly. He was young and feels left out because he doesn't have as many memories with them. He was in the car when the accident occurred, and he's working through trauma.

Beck's quiet, reserved but not rude. He doesn't open up and trust easily, but once he does, he is the most kind person. He would do anything for you, but once that trust is broken, it will never be repaired. One small move, and Beck can shrink back into his turtle shell.

I can feel a yawn rise up, and not wanting to have to walk into my room because I'm lazy, I lay my head on the countertop. I yawn once again, my eyes closing slowly. I fall asleep right there, and I don't even care.

I feel a soft hand move over my face as I peel my eyes open. The sun radiates through the room from in between the shudders, making a lined pattern on the floor. I look around me to see Beck sitting down on the bed next to me. He presses a kiss to my cheek, saying that he's saying goodbye before he heads out on the ranch.

I smile at him, saying goodbye right back, and when he walks out of the room, I turn to look out the window. I watch as he greets an already shirtless, hot, delicious looking Jace before getting into his truck.
