Boys Night Out

James' POV

     "Cody, please don't make me go!" I beg my Mate, cuddling closer to his small body that fits perfectly against mine.

     "James, you need to go out. Alex is right, you need to have fun, all this stress isn't good for you." He tells me and I groan, not believing my ears at the words he just said.

     "You never ever tell that wolf he's right or he will never let it go." I scold him and he giggle before trying to wiggle out of my grasp yet again. "Stop! I don't want to go!"

     "Well too bad, you big baby." Cody tells me before finally being able to pull away from me, only to sit up and beat me with his pillow. "You need to go have fun and enjoy life. You're only eighteen but you pout around like you're thirty." He tells me, continuing his assault as he adds insult to injury.

     "I do have fun!" I protest. "I get to spend time with you!"

     "Come one James, get up, Alex will be here in thirty minutes and if you're not ready, I won't give you a kiss before you leave.

    "You cruel, cruel bean." I groan finally sitting up, much to my displeasure, to get ready for this so called, 'Boys Night Out' that Alex is taking me on. I lift myself off the bed, complaining the whole time under my breath as I put together an outfit. 

     "That's ugly." Cody tells me from the bed, bullying me yet again, when all I want to do is cuddle and maybe fuck his small body into the mattress, but nooo I have to go out with my best friend for a 'fun time'. I hate life.

     "Well you pick out an outfit then, since I'm doing it wrong." I snap back, hoping he'll let me off the hook but he only smiles and shrugs his shoulders before getting off my bed and heading towards my defeated form.

     "Okay, I will." He says sassily, rolling his eyes as he uses his small body to hip bump me out of the way. "Go shower and I'll find something appropriate." My bean tells me and instantly begins looking through the drawers for an outfit for me to wear. I sigh and turn my body towards the bathroom and head in, silently sulking as I take my clothes off while I close the door behind me.

     After his betrayal towards me with agreeing with Alex, Cody doesn't deserve to watch me shower. I turn on the water, waiting until the water is soothing to my skin before I step in, instantly melting against the soothing warm water against my muscles.

     As much as I hate to admit it, a night off might actually be good for me, especially after everything that happened with Cody a couple months back, and thing slowly got relatively back to normal.

    Soon as it did, I was back in the office and started to begin to make changes throughout the pack and created a team to start building me and Cody's home, this building holding too many bad memories to stay here. I've been running myself into the ground to make sure everything is going smoothly, coupled with the fact that I graduate next month, I'm not surprised that Cody thinks I need a break.

     But that still doesn't mean I want one.

     "If I miss out on my kisses, because you want to be stubborn, I'll stab you.' Sloan threatens me and I snort, only finding humor in the threat because something tells me that he would find a way to do exactly that.

     I make sure to use my Scented soap, washing the day's sweat and hard work off of my body when I hear a sudden commotion coming from the other room, immediately making me groan. Before I get dragged out of here by my pubic hair, I turn off the heavenly shower and reach for my towel, stepping out to dry off my body.
