Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories

Chapter 10: 9th Floor

(3rd) POV:

In a quiet white room is a girl, Namine, who sits on a white chair. She looks down at her lap, feeling sad and regretful. Soon it will be time for her and Harmony to meet. But it's because of that that she feels sorry for what she is having Harmony go through. Then all of a sudden, Axel appears, and walks towards Namine.

"Does it hurt, Namine?" Axel asks. "Watching your three childhood friends fight all because of you and Roxas? You have my sympathies. From the heart," that last part makes Namine look up to glare at him. "But don't waste your time. We Nobodies can never hope to be somebodies. I would know. Harmony and I didn't know each that well. We weren't friends or anything like that. But it's because we knew each other that I would help get her out of this mess. At least, that's what I would do, if I still had a heart. But since I don't, I might as well sit back and watch the show, just like how a Nobody like me should."

(Harmony's) POV:

As my friends and I head to the 9th floor, I can't help but think about Madison and Riku. What they said back there still bothers me.

"Harmony, are you okay?" Mieu asks, flying to me and then landing on my shoulder.

"...I just don't get it. Riku, Madison and I--we all want the same thing. We all want to help Roxas and Namine. But then--How come we're fighting each other?" I ask. "I mean, Riku and I have fought about stuff before in the past, but...in the end, we always made up and continued to be friends. And Madison...I thought we put the past behind us."

"Could be 'cause ya care what happens to each other," Goofy says.

"I thought so, too. But after what happened back there...maybe Madison and Riku..." I say, afraid to finish that sentence.

"You can't give up. You're friends--tied together," Donald says, trying to encourage me. "Harmony, Riku, Madison, and...and..."

"What's wrong, Donald?" Luke asks.

"I'm not sure. I feel like there are two more people that Harmony was friends with. But I can't remember either of their names," says Donald.

"You sure you're not talking about Roxas and Namine?" Asch asks.

"No, no. Aside from Madison, there was one more person who joined us in all of our adventures when we fought against the Heartless. But I can't seem to remember his name," Donald explains.

Hearing that, we all put some thought into Donald's words. Was there one more person who joined us in our travels? Or did Donald make a mistake?

"Hm. It seems our memories are fading mighty fast," says Jiminy. "Harmony, we gotta hurry. I bet Riku and Madison will come around if you just talk to them."

"You're right. Even after Madison, Roxas and Namine disappeared from the islands, the five of us were never apart, because we always were in each other's hearts. Me, Riku, Madison, Roxas and Namine," I say, thinking back on the memories I shared with my childhood friends.

"It'll be real nice when you, Riku, Madison, Namine and Roxas can laugh together again," says Goofy.

"I think so, too," Mieu says.

"Kai...So...Wak!? That's weird. I can't think of their names," Donald says.

"We're in Castle Oblivion. You can't remember because some of our memories keep fading away," Asch points.
