(Madison's) POV:
"Are you Namine?" I ask.
The girl nods her head. "Yes."
"I see...That was you..." Riku says.
"Huh?" Namine asks, confused.
"Forget about it, it's nothing," I say.
"Please...Come this way," Namine says, making way for us.
At that moment, I start to notice that there's someone in that giant flower bud. My eyes widen in shock when I realize who it is. Apparently, I'm not the only one. Riku and I both run towards the machine, getting a closer look to see that Harmony is inside this thing!
"Harmony!" I exclaim, worried.
"What have you done to Harmony?" Riku questions, turning around to glare at Namine.
"Nothing. She's just asleep. To get her memory back," Namine explains, making me and Riku confused.
Namine then explains the whole story to us. She and a friend of hers, Roxas are both victims of Organization 13 and have been separated for some time now. In order to see each other again, some guy named Marluxia ordered her to use her powers to mess up Harmony's memories so that Marluxia could use Harmony's powers for whatever evil scheme he had planned.
Not only that, but Harmony and the others only came to this castle to look for me, Riku, Kratos, Chibi's mother and king Mickey, thinking they could find us. But things didn't go as planned. In the end, Harmony defeated Marluxia. Now...with Namine's help, she's trying to recover her true memories.
Maybe that's why those replicas of me and Riku were created--Because it was part of Marluxia's plan to use Harmony as a tool.
"So, let me get this straight. Harmony chose to forget about all of her memories of this castle, including you, in order to get her real memories back?" I ask, making sure that I understand the situation.
Namine nods her head. "That's right. But since I didn't use my powers on Chibi, that means he'll be the only one to remember this place, because he still has his true memories. Because of that, Harmony thought it would be best for Chibi to be my guard dog in case Organtization 13 ever sought me out for my powers again, since she and her friends would be unable to do it. In exchange, I promised to take good care of him until Harmony wakes up," she says, scratching Chibi behind the ear, making him enjoy the feeling. "You have a choice to make, too."
"Why us, too? No one's messed with our memories," says Riku.
"I know I still have all of my memories intact," I say.
"Actually, Madison doesn't need to choose--Only you, Riku. And it's not your memories. It's your darkness," says Namine, making me and Riku confused. "I'm not sure how, but the darkness in Madison's heart has changed, to the point where Ansem thinks of her as a...nuisance."
"Nuisance?" I ask.
"I guess saying 'you've finally found your own light' is one way to put it. Ansem fears that light, thinking that it will get rid of him for good, ridding him from Riku's heart. Because of that, Ansem is doing whatever he can to make sure that Madison's light doesn't affect him," Namine tries to explain.
I put some thought into her words, and then realize what she means. When I tried to help Riku, Ansem's power knocked me away from him. Was that what happened? If so, it probably explains that strange light that appeared in my hand. The question is, when did I find my light, and how?
