Chapter 13: 12th Floor/Revealed Lies Part 1

(3rd) POV:

Will I really get to meet you? Is the one you'll meet really me? The girl and boy you knew from the islands--it was me and Roxas but another us. I don't exist anywhere. I'm nobody. Or maybe I'm just a thing. And it might be the same for Roxas. If I can meet you on that island...something might change. But the me and the Roxas that you'll meet there is a different us. A false us. If I can meet you, Harmony, will something change? Something I can do. Something I have to do. I was wrong, wasn't I? You know, Harmony...I'm glad we get to see each other.

(Harmony's) POV:

I can't believe those guys! I thought we were friends, yet they thought I should just waste time and think instead of focusing on saving Roxas and Namine!

"Harmony, that was no way to--" Jiminy says, before I cut him off.

"Keep it to youself!" I exclaim.

I then use the card on the doors and end up in a familiar sight I haven't seen in quite some time. The ocean, the beach, everything that I remember from the Destiny Islands I grew up on.

"Is this for real?" I ask myself. "This is...The island I grew up on, where I made all of my precious memories with Namine and Roxas when we used to play together."

Even though it's an illusion from my memories of the real thing, it feels nice to be home.

"Heeeey!" a familiar voice I hadn't heard in some time calls out.

I turn to see three more of my friends from the islands.

"Whassup, Harmony!" one of them exclaims.

"So, whatcha wanna do today?" the only girl among the three asks.

I smile at all of them. "Hey, guys! I'm glad to see you, uh..."

Wait a minute. I know that they're my friends...But then why can't I remember any of their names?

"'Uh', what?" the other boy asks.

"We got food on our faces?" the first boy asks.

"Please, Wakka," the girl says, rolling her eyes. "Only you could be dumb enough to not notice food stuck to your face."

"Hey, whoa! That's a low blow, ya?" Wakka asks.

"I dunno, Wakka. I think Selphie's on the mark," the second boy says.

"Aw, not you too, Tidus!" Wakka exclaims.

"Oh, yeah. You're Selphie, Wakka and Tidus, that's who you are!" I exclaim, remembering the names of my friends.

"You hit your head?" Wakka asks, giving me a weird look.

"No, uh...just thinking out loud," I say, not sure what else to say.

"I know...You're thinking about HIM again!" Selphie exclaims.

"Ohhh, I get it," Tidus says, nodding his head in understanding. "No matter how smart Harmony is, even she can be a total zombie when he's on her mind."

"That would explain why she's actin' all funny towards us," says Wakka.

I tilt my head in confusion. Selphie then walks towards me.

"I bet you want us to take a hike so you two can be ALONE, huh?" Selphie asks.

"Umm...I guess," I say, not sure what they're talking about.
