Chapter 52

          *Your POV*

     Today was Lucy's birthday and everything was prepared since yesterday, I don't know about Lolbit but I just went to bed because I was really exhausted, maybe she did something else I don't know but on thing was certain though.. she wasn't next to me when I woke up "Morning sleepy head" I turn around only to see the fox smirking at me.. and a bit exhausted "Talk to yourself, you look like a mess Lolbit" "Maybe I want to look like a mess.." I roll my eyes as she hands me a piece of paper "I need you to go there and take some kind of power cells" I look at the paper and it was an address on it "For what..?" "Personal reasons, would you do that for me?" is she gonna kill herself with these? "I guess I can.."

     I step inside the kitchen and the smell literally killed my nose, the vanilla was so strong that I couldn't even breathe "Everything's prepared for her little birthday but.. sadly you won't be here" I look confused at her and she just smiles "You have to go get the power cells before it's too late, don't worry.. nothing bad is going to happen" "Why do you need them though? for what exactly? feeding yourself with power or what?" "If I would eat the damn power cell I would die.. are you out of your mind? just go get them please" "Alright fine.. what's my reward though?" "Whatever you'd like, now just freaking go already!"

     With a sigh I walk outside the house and to be honest I don't even want to do this sort of stuff, I mean all I want is just to relax now.. oh well, might as well try and get these.. useless cells "And how could I forget? I wanted to be at Lucy's birthday too God dammit" I step inside the car as I take one more look at the paper "Why in the world is this place near the beach? and.. how far is the beach from here? oh God dammit Lolbit why do you have to torture me" I start the engine and began driving my way to the address.

          *Time skip*

     I think I've been driving for hours and to be honest I was starting to get a little bit tired, didn't really slept much during the night due to some loud noises, but I can't fall asleep though.. even though I want to take a nap I can't "The reward better be worth it.." suddenly my phone buzzed and I answer it, to my surprise it was Lucy "Before you say anything girl.. happy birthday to ya" I could hear her giggling "Thank you, dad~" that.. sounds wrong.. when I first thought about it it wasn't so weird.. "So Lolbit gave you the news huh? what do you think? was it a nice gift?" "Of course it was! I just can't believe that you guys actually did that for me.. how many hours did you guys spent at the adoption center or whenever you went?"

     "Don't ask me.. ask your lovely new mom.. anyhow Lucy, I'm a bit busy and I can't really talk to you right now.. how about a bit later? or when I arrive home?" she sighs and it made me feel a bit weird but I really can't talk to her while I'm driving "Okay.. hope you arrive home soon" with that she hangs up and I put my phone back in my pocket "Alrighty.. seems I'm a parent now, or a step parent? oh well.. doesn't matter" suddenly I spotted the beach and I sigh relived, I look for a spot to park the car and after a while found one, I professionally parked the car as I get out of it.

     "Feels so good to breathe fresh air" I walk towards the beach and to my surprise no one was there, not a single living being "Hmm.. seems like a nice place" I noticed a couple of signs placed around the beach saying to keep out from this area "Yep.. still nice" I look around but I didn't seen anything other than sand.. more sand.. and guess what? sand "Do I have to find these cells in the damn sand? God dammit woman" suddenly my trusty eyes spotted some kind of platform on the ocean and I think that's where I have to go.. freaking great.

     There were no boats nearby or something that could help me get there faster so I'm gonna do it in the old way.. swimming like a mad man "Do I even know how to swim anymore? when was the last time I've been swimming anyway?" with that I jump into the cold water and swam towards the platform which luckily, it wasn't really that far from the beach "I swear.. I'm gonna beg her to tell me what are these cells for" suddenly something popped into my head, what if there are sharks around this area? It's gonna be one hell of a brawl.. like it wouldn't kill me with a couple of bites "I wonder if something's gonna await me on the platform.. like animatronics? I swear I'm sick of them.. Lolbit doesn't count though"

     I saw a ladder and I instantly began make my way towards it "Here's the moment of truth.. let's see if I step on that platform and get shot in the head.. or live" I climb the ladder and I almost fall a couple of times, the ladder was rusty and quite old so it could've break any moment.. I reach the top and to my surprise no one was there, only me with a couple of tents.. buildings.. and.. vehicles "Very nice.. I will borrow a vehicle from here and.. keep it forever" I walk around studying every single bit of everything, making sure nothing alive is hiding around here ready to strike me and most likely kill me.

     I walk inside of a building and oh boy.. this platform was huge! from the distance it was so small I couldn't even see it.. but man, you can fit a couple of military bases in here without a problem, okay I'm over exaggerating but still, there's plenty of room "Alright.. my main objective here is not to look around and have fun, is to find these damn cells which I don't even know how they look like" suddenly everything began to shake a bit violent making me to fall on the floor, I have no idea what the hell is going on but.. I have a feeling a tsunami is going to hit.. yeah too much of a drama queen.

     As soon as everything stopped from shaking I stand up and went upstairs, because this building has a couple of floors "What was that about.. something may be here with me.. destroying everything? is it because of the waves hitting the pillars? hell if I know man" as I reach the 3rd floor I noticed something pink glowing and of course, my curiosity took over and walk over the the source "It isn't even my birthday and yet, found some toys to play with" there was a box and the glowing source was coming from it.. I open the box and there was a 4 cylinder looking.. things "Wait.. are these the power cells?"

     Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder, it turned me around and I was greeted with a punch in my guts, the punch was so hard that I almost threw out "You know boy, you really managed to piss me off real hard" I didn't even managed to look at it's face because it pushed me back hard making me fall on the floor again "Setting the explosions was a real good idea.. but I'm much tougher than a piece of junk so called animatronic" ah yes.. his voice is familiar and I know who this fucker is.. "You again? want me to set your ass on fire again?" I jump back on my feet and the living creature stares at me "This time.. it's your turn"
