Calum
You were waiting for the call from your manager to inform you if you got the part or not. The lead role in 50 Shades of Grey was a big jump from the parts you had been playing but your manger was confident you could get it and your boyfriend Calum had been nothing but supportive. You were in the kitchen making lunch for Calum and you when your phone started to ring. You stared at it for a minute, scared to answer it.
“Well pick it up (Y/N)!” Calum said. You reached for phone and nervously answered it.
“Hello?” You questioned. Your manager was so excited she could she could barely speak. “Slow down! Did I get it or not?” You said trying to calm her down enough to understand her. Your eyes widened when you heard the words “you got it!” “Thank you I can’t believe it!” You replied before ending the call.
“Judging by your expression I’m guessing you got the part?” Calum asked with forced grin.
“Yes! I’m going to be Anastasia!” You screamed as you ran over to hug Calum. He gave you a small one armed hug and you pulled away sensing that something was bothering him. “Everything okay?”
“Uh yeah, I’m happy for you.” Calum tried to force another smile but this time he didn’t succeed. You flashed him a look letting him know you could see right through his act and he finally gave in. “I just don’t know how I feel about all those sex scenes you’re going to have to do.”
“Oh Cal, is someone a bit jealous?” You walked over to him and sat on his lap. “Babe it’s just acting, and maybe I’ll learn a thing or two to try with you.” You winked at Calum and he raised his eyebrows.
“Oh. Maybe this isn’t so bad after all.” Calum said as he kissed you.
Ashton
“Ash! Ash where are you?!” You ran downstairs yelling for your boyfriend. You just got the call from your manager informing you that you will be playing Anastasia in 50 Shades of Grey. You weren’t sure how he would react but you this was a big deal for you so you hoped he would be just as excited.
“I’m in the living room babe.” You heard Ashton yell when you reached the bottom of the stairs. You walked in the living room to see Ashton on the couch with his nose in a book. You sat beside him and pulled the book out of his hands.
“What?” He questioned with a puzzled expression.
“Remember when I auditioned for that part in 50 Shades of Grey?”
“Yeah.” He replied sitting up.
“Well I got a call from my manager today and I got it!” You said nearly jumping off the couch with excitement.
“That’s great babe, I proud of you.” Ashton said, obviously less excited than you.
“You don’t seem too proud.” You mumbled. He quickly leaned forward and took your hands in his.
“Babe I am very proud of you for getting the part, I’m just not sure how comfortable I am with the part itself.” Ashton admitted.
“Baby it’s just acting, I promise you it’s nothing more.” You reassured him. “You can come down to the set one day if that would make you more comfortable.”
“Thanks babe.” Ashton leaned forward and gave you a kiss. “I trust you and I will be the most supportive boyfriend in the world.” You smiled, pulling him in for a hug.
