Luke wanted you two sext each other but he sends them to his friends and when your sitting in class some one is laughing and every one points and laughing, when you run to get away from them you find Calum in the library and he comforts you , and you both become close and start dating.... Luke then gets jealous
You were in homeroom texting Luke when the conversation went from innocent flirting to sexting. You tried to hide your surprise but you couldn’t help it.
Luke, not in class! You sent.
Come on! It’ll be fun! He replied. Soon after that message you could feel people staring at you. You looked up from your phone and saw people whispering and passing theirs phones around. You were about to ask what was going on when your phone went off.
Don’t freak out, but I accidently replied to a group message instead of our message and it had your name in it… Once you read this you realized that is what everyone was whispering about. You tried to stay calm and look down at your phone but that was hard once everyone started laughing. You got up and left, not wanting to deal with the embarrassment of people laughing at yours and Luke’s conversation. You walked around the hallways for a while until you wandered into the library. You were flipping through books on the tables when you heard a familiar voice come up behind you.
“Hey (Y/N), are you okay?” You turned to see Calum, he reached out and placed a hand on your shoulder.
“So you heard?” You asked.
“Yeah, I was one of the people he sent that message to.” Calum answered. You put your head in your hands, you were so embarrassed. “Hey don’t worry, everyone will forget about it by tomorrow okay?” He reassured you.
“It’s just so embarrassing.” You replied.
“Can I ask you something?” Calum questioned. You nodded and looked up at him. “Why do you talk to him, like that anyways? You guys aren’t dating right?”
“I guess I always thought that eventually we would be, but I don’t think Luke wants us to be any more than friends with benefits.” You said shyly.
“You deserve better than that though, you deserve someone who can see that you’re worth much more,” Calum stared, “You’re an amazing girl, any guy would be lucky to have you and if Luke can’t see that than that’s his problem.” Even though Calum’s words took you by surprise you couldn’t help but smile, it was nice knowing someone thought that of you.
“Cal that’s really sweet of you.” You extended your arms to pull him in for a hug.
“(Y/N)…” Calum said as he slowly pushed your arms down.
Cal…it’s just a hug, what’s wrong?” You asked confused.
“I really like you (Y/N), I have for a while but you’ve always been Luke’s girl. If I hug you right now I’m not going to want to let you go.” You could see the sincere look in his eyes.
“Calum, I didn’t know…” You could barely speak.
“I know you probably weren’t expecting this but if you give me a chance I promise I will treat you how you deserve to be treated, not like Luke does.” Calum reached out and took your hands in his.
“Calum you and Luke are friends-“ You started but he cut you off.
“I don’t care (Y/N), he missed out on a good thing and he’ll have to get over it because I want you.” Calum said. You thought for a second, you never pictured you and Calum together because you always thought you would end up with Luke. But Calum was right, Luke wasn’t changing his mind any time soon and Calum was a great guy so finally you decided.
“Yes. Calum I would love to see where this goes with you.” His smile nearly touched his ears as he pulled you into a warm embrace. The bell rang signaling it was time to head to your next class, which happened to be with Luke. Calum walked you to class and hugged you at the door. As you pulled away you saw Luke walking up. He stared at you and Calum for a minute before walking past both you and into the classroom. You walked in and sat down in your seat in front of Luke.
“So what was that about?” Luke asked.
“Luke, we can’t do this anymore.” You started.
“Do what? We were just having fun.” He replied.
“I know that’s how it started but I wanted something more and I realized you didn’t and that’s okay, but I want someone who wants to be with not just have fun with me.” You said finally meeting his eyes.
“And Calum wants to be with you?” Luke chuckled a little before leaning back in his seat.
“Luke I didn’t want to hurt you.” You tried to apologize but Luke didn’t seem like he wanted to hear it.
“Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine.” He smiled and pulled out his phone. The rest of the class period was silent, Luke seemed to be getting over you just fine as he quickly brushed by you and out the door. Before he could make it very far Calum stopped him.
“Luke can I talk to you?” He asked.
“Don’t worry Calum, you can have her, it’s not like we were dating right?” Luke answered before continuing down the hall.
____
After school you were at home doing homework and texting Calum. Even though it was sudden you were glad you gave Calum a chance. You were laughing at a cheesy joke he sent when your phone started to ring, it was Luke. You froze for a second before taking a deep breath and answering it.
“Hello?” You said softly.
“Hey (Y/N), it’s Luke, can we talk?” He questioned.
“Luke I don’t have anything to say to you.” You said harshly.
“I have something to say to you though. I did want something more you I was just too afraid to admit it. I know I’m probably too late but seeing you with someone else today made me realize that I screwed up.” Luke seemed sincere and even though earlier today you would’ve been jumping for joy you weren’t happy at all. Today when Luke was the one that hurt you Calum was there to comfort you. He made you feel important when all Luke ever did was make you feel like you weren’t good enough.
“Luke I waited for you for too long, I’m sorry but you’re too late, I’ve moved on.” You hung up the phone before he could answer. Even though it hurt a little letting go of Luke you were happy you did because the future looked bright for you and Calum.
