I slowly try to open my eyes but the lights are too bright. After a few minutes, I am finally able to open my eyes. Immediately I think, Am I dead? I then look over and see Bakugo sleeping with his head lying on my bed. I guess he died too. I decide to pet his hair for a minute. Oh my gosh! It's sooooo soft! What shampoo does he use?!
After a few minutes of me petting his hair, he starts to stir in his sleep. He then opens his eyes and looks into my e/c ones. "Welcome to the afterlife." I say. He tsks and rolls his eyes.
"We're not dead loser." That's disapointing. I decide to be risky and sit up. I don't feel any pain in my ribs or shoulder, just sore. "You had everyone worried when you passed out." Awwww he cares about me! "But I wasn't worried." He says with a blush on his face.
I try to get of my hospital bed, but he just forces me back down.
"Why won't you let me stand up?" I ask.
"Because, you idiot, you need to rest." At this point I know he cares.
"Well," I say. "I need to pee. So unless you want me to pee on you, I suggest you let me get up." Shocked, he moves his hand and I stand up and go to the bathroom.
When I come back to the room, the explosive pomeranian is gone. I just sit back down on my bed and stare at the wall until a doctor comes in.
"How are you feeling." She politely asks.
"Much better thanks." She nods.
"Recovery Girl came in and healed your broken bones, but you still need to be careful." She says.
I then remember something very important. I have a few dance classes tomorrow. I tell her this and she just tells me to be careful. She then does a few simple tests and leaves.
A few minutes later, my brother comes rushing into my hospital room. As soon as he sees me, he runs over and crushes me in a bear hug. "I'm so happy you're okay!"
"Yeah I'm fine. I thought you were working." I say.
"I was, but the USJ was on the news. I saw it as I was walking around. As soon as I heard I called the others at the agency and told them to take over." Yes, my brother has his own agency. He's also the number 19 hero. Not top ten, but still amazing.
After he tells me this, he hits my head and starts shouting at me telling me I should've been more careful.
After a while, I'm finally discharged from the hospital and we go home. When we get to the complex, Inko runs up to me and asks if Izu is okay. I tell her that he's fine and that he's still in the hospital. She thanks me and I go inside.
I go to my room and flop down onto my bed. I pull out my phone. It's 9 pm here which means it's 5 am on California. I start texting my dad.
Me:
Hey dad. What's up?
Today our class was attacked by a bunch of villains
I'm okay though
Male Parental Figure
WHAT?!
WHAT HAPPENED?!
ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE OKAY?!
SHOULD I BOOK A FLIGHT?!
Sigh.
Me
Yeah I'm fine.
We just had to fight some villains
And no you don't need to come to Japan just to check on me.

That's good.
Your mother and I are coming to visit in a month for the sports festival though.

I turn off my phone. I decide to go get a snack from the kitchen. When I walk to the kitchen, I look through the window only to see a black cat on the fire escape. It's so cute! I open the window and it comes in. Then, in the blink of an eye, the cat changes form to a human. Now standing before me is my best friend Suzume Strumm. She tackles me in a hug.
"I saw what happened on the news! Are you okay?!" She shouts at me.
I pat her blonde hair. "I'm fine. Just a few minor injuries." If you can even call it that. But I don't wanna worry her. She hmphs.
"Well you better be at dance tomorrow or I'm disowning you!"
"Geez okay. I was planning on coming to dance anyway." I say to the shorter girl. She jumps on me again and I almost fall over.
After a few minutes, she decides she needs to go home. She turns back into a cat and jumps through the window. After I close the window, I grab a slice of cold pizza and go back to my room.
