Y/n took me out to eat for brunch because we still had yet to eat. I've been getting so many notifications from people wishing me a happy birthday. Not even gonna lie I enjoy having all the attention. "Remember we're meeting my parents later so like around 8 we should probably go back to my hotel"

"Do you wanna eat in or do take out" she asks looking at her phone.

"Did you hear me?"

"I could just drop you off there"

"You're not dropping me off you're coming in too"

"It's gonna be weird that I'm there when they didn't even invited me"

"I'm inviting you. I'm not even inviting you I'm telling you"

"All I'm saying is I don't think it's right for me to go"

"What because my parents doesn't like us together? So fucking what. I don't get why you're acting pussy all of a sudden"

"It s really not. Why do we always have to go back and forth when it comes to being around with my family. If you asked me to meet your parents I wouldn't try to back out of that"

"It's my birthday. All I'm asking is to be around my parents for 2 hours at most. You act like you're gonna have to live with them"

"Ok" she says annoyed

"Ok?"

"Ok I'll go but after you're party tomorrow we gotta fly back out to LA then"

"For what?"

"You'll see. We'll just get bob evans take out. We could eat somewhere else" she says not looking up from her phone. I think she's just afraid of not being accepted by my family and that's why she doesn't want to be around. Not because she didn't like them she's just don't wanna admit she's scared. Which it's understandable but I would never let my mom talk shit about y/n. I just want everyone to be happy.  Maybe when we get back I'll my mom and y/n do more stuff together and have her come over more. "Imma go in real quick to get the food give me like 10 minutes depending on how slow they are" she says getting out.

"If they're slow tell them to hurry up because you're babygirl is in the car starving"

"Ok" she says laughing. I watch her walk off into the restaurant but just then I got another notification. I thought it was Finneas texting me about animal crossing but it was actually a message from que. Does he not move on? Why is he not blocked.

Damn I guess me and y/n both got exes that regret losing us. Haven't heard from Harper in a minute though. I wonder if she's really pregnant. Me and y/n could make a better baby if we're honest here. Y/n got back in the car with a big bag of food.

"Guess who just tried to text me"

"Brandon"

"About what?" She asks

"He texted me happy birthday but I blocked his ass. I think it's ridiculous that when people see someone doing good they automatically try to break apart what they have"

"He's bored. I wouldn't even respond"I grab the bag and place it on my lap. "No eating in the rental"

"What we going back to the hotel to eat?"

"Hell no. I could've did post mates for that shit. We're going to the beach but we're not eating the sand. We're gonna be on one of those benches because I'm not trying to get sand in my food at all" shit if we weren't in this rental I probably would have eaten. I haven't eaten all day. I'm literally starving.

We eventually arrived at the beach and like always it was windy. I grabbed the bag and got out the car while y/n got out the car and opened trunk. "Don't look" she tells me signaling me to turn around. She pulls out a bag with a tissue paper and carries it to where we were gonna eat at.

"What is it" I ask looking at the bag.

"You'll see later" she says smiling mischievously.

"Ah you're trying to be cute"

"Is it working?"

"Mhm" I said to her crossing our legs. "I'm suprised no one has caught me yet. I'm just waiting for like a group of fans to chase me down the street to get a picture"

"I thought you said you didn't want to be noticed?"

"Yea but what's in the bag?"

"Pfft I thought you we were talking about your fans?"

"Come on tell meee"I wine pulling on her arm. I kissed her and pulled away hoping that she would give in but when i pulled away she was just smiling.

"Take it impatient ass" she says laughing and giving me the gift bag. I opened it and inside was Nintendo switch Lite. "I've been playing animal crossing with Finneas and not gonna lie it's pretty entertaining. That's why I got you one because now we can play"

I opened the box and pulled out the switch. Y/n helped me set it up. It may not be something that I would buy myself but I'm this does let me spend more time with y/n. I don't think I ever owned a product of Nintendo. The wind blowing into her hair while she was settled the switch up was kinda cute. I put it behind her ear so it would stop getting in her face. "I love you" I tell her.
