weeeeeeee wooooooooooooooo. Kiribaku but they are fish

"-atsuki."

"Katsuki. Wake up!" I shot back away from the voice, getting ready to attack. My eyes focused on the red and instantly calmed my racing heart.

"Kiri, don't wake me up like that!" I yelled as a gust of wind slammed into my face. My eyes widened as I looked at our surroundings. "What the fuck?" I was in the tank again, but this time in a completely different location, we were in a dense forest surrounded by those big trees. They loomed over us completely hiding the sun away with some sprays of sunlight here and there. Sunlight? How long have I been out?

"They attacked us at the tower," Kirishima began before I could ask, "they attacked you first, injecting some weird serum into you, knocking you out immediately." Kirishima said with a shaky voice. They injected something in me? "I thought- I thought they killed you. You just fell to the floor and they picked you up like a rag doll. You weren't moving or responding to any of my yells. I thought- I thought I failed to protect another one of my loved ones once again and this time they had really killed them." My eyes dilated as the bigger fish in front of me shook with fear, tears threatening to spill from his already puffy eyes. Had he been crying all this time? He had cried for me? "A-after they had knocked you out, I was frozen. They started to attack us one by one. I couldn't do shit!" Kirishima only ever swore when he was really overwhelmed with negative emotions, and since he was practically the reincarnation of the sun, it was scarce. "I was literally a fish on land as I watched them attack my friends left and right. The humans tried to help but- but fuck, K-katsuki they had powers like you- witchcraft. Stronger than the humans and soon enough they were also taken out. They tossed us one by one into the tank leaving the humans on the floor-" his voice hitched "Katsuki they were bleeding- What if they- what if they died Katsuki?"

"I don't-"

"What then!?" I don't know.

"I'm sure they are fine." A groggy voice got our attention.

"Mina! You're up, thank goddess! I thought you were never going to get up" Kirishima engulfed his friend in a big hug.

"Yeah, I am sure they are alright, man." Denki chimed in after also just getting up.

"Denki! My man, you guys are all alright?" Kirishima pulled his yellow-headed friend in the hug as well.

"Where's Marina?" Mina asked from Kirishima's choking hug. I saw his smile fall as he let go of them and looked over into the truck that was dragging us along.

"They took her in there, I don't know why though..." that little kid was stuck in that small compartment. "I hope she's fine. I don't know what I would do if Marina-" He was doing it again.

"Eiji," I said rather sternly his eyes fluttered up to mine and lingered there, he read my eyes and gave a thin smile before slapping his cheeks, causing them to appear red. I smirked at the new resolve his eyes showed. Boosting my own resolve at what I was about to do.

"Waah, dude, what was that?" Denki asked, worried about his friend's cheeks. Kirishima let out a weak laugh from his friend's worry. I glanced over at Mina, who was staring at Kirishima with a sombre smile, seeming to understand what had just happened. Her face turned to meet mine before her smile fell, and it was replaced with a hardened look, her eyes had something lit in them, as she looked at me. I could not understand what her expression meant. It was not full of hatred like it was at the tower or filled with anger as she had glared at me for proposing to go through the Red Coral, nor was it fueled with sadness as I had denied their friendship.

"Do any of you guys know what they are after?" Denki asked, Immediately I could feel another pair of eyes on me. I glanced up to meet Kirishima's worried gaze. They both knew exactly who they were after.
