"Are you ready to leave?" Jeff asked a couple of minutes later. Harry had gone back to his dressing room to get changed into a more comfortable outfit, before meeting back with me.
"Yeah, we're ready." Harry answered for the both of us. "Let's go."
"There might be some fans, so stay close to Mike." Jeff instructed. Mike was Harry's security guard.
"Come on, let's go." Harry grabbed my hand in his and pulled me closer to him, before Jeff opened the door and there were indeed a whole lot of fans waiting. Thankfully the venue had put a barricade in place and there were security guards there so that no one could jump over and get to Harry. We started walking towards the van that was taking us to the hotel, it was only a few feet away, but with all of the fans screaming and snapping pics, it felt as if we had walked for an eternity. My eyes were trained on the van and I tried to hide as much as possible from the fans, since I didn't want them to start speculating. Harry never let go off my hand, and out of the corner of my eye I saw him waving at the fans with his free hand before he used it to open the door for me. Such a gentleman.
"Wow, is it always like that?" I laughed once we were secured inside the van.
"This was nothing." Jeff stated.
"Yeah, we've had worse." Harry laughed too, his adorable dimples making an appearance.
"Really? Wow."
"Yeah, but you get kind of used to it." Jeff spoke again.
"Although sometimes I still get taken aback, even after 10 years." Harry chimed in.
"I can imagine. What has been the craziest thing a fan has ever done?"
"Oh me and the boys have a lot of stories about that. Directioners are crazy, but we love them. We wouldn't be here without them."
"Yeah, directioners are a little bit crazy." I laughed.
"The craziest thing I've seen was that someone tried to like legally marry a cardboard cutout of myself. That was so strange."
"Oh my god really?"
"Yes, I'm not kidding."
"That's so weird. And do you know if it's even legal?"
"I don't even want to know, if I'm being honest." Harry laughed.
He kept on telling me stories about what the fans had done, most of the stories were from his One Direction days, but man, the fans were really crazy. And I bet that when they reunite again they'll be just as crazy.
"We're here." Jeff announced as we pulled up to the back entrance of the hotel. He opened the door and got out. "I'm heading straight to sleep, I'm hammered." He continued, while Harry got out of the van too.
"Bye pal, see you tomorrow."
"See you, it was a pleasure to meet you Cami."
"Pleasure to meet you too." I answered as I took Harry's hand, he'd offered to help me get out of the van. Chivalry isn't dead apparently, I just hadn't met the right person.
"Thank you for driving us." Harry thanked the driver before he shook his hand. And I was left in awe, I had never met a more down to earth celebrity than Harry, his mom had really raised him well and he didn't let fame get to his head.
"Thank you so much." I thanked him too and the driver smiled back at me before taking off.
"I'm so tired." Harry voiced once we were inside and headed for the elevators.
"I'm so tired too. And I didn't even spent the last 2 hours singing my heart out on stage, so I can't even begin to imagine how tired you are."
"I'm always drained after a show but it's worth it. I love what I do, I wouldn't want to be doing anything else."
