"Are you busy right now?" Harry asked me as soon as we were finished with breakfast.
"No, why?" I inquired confused.
"Well, I thought that since we didn't get a chance to go to the Museum of Natural History that we could go now? And then have lunch before heading to the venue?"
"Yeah, I'd love to. That'd be amazing." I smiled at Harry and as soon as I agreed he broke into a huge smile, giving me a full view of his dimples.
"Great. I'll just go and freshen up and we can meet at the back entrance in..." He trailed off as he checked the time on his phone. "At 11?"
"Yes, it's a plan. I'll meet you there in a few." I spoke as we got closer to my room door.
"Okay."
"This is me." I voiced as soon as we got to my room.
"Oh okay." Harry stopped walking.
"Yeah, so 11 right?"
"Yeah 11." He smiled at me before I closed the door to my room. What the hell had just happened? First he asked me to go to soundcheck with him and now he wanted to spend the whole day with me again. Not that I was complaining, but wow, it was a lot to process.
20 minutes later I was back downstairs walking towards the back entrance to wait for Harry. It was 10:57 and I was early, so I didn't expect Harry to be there already.
"You're early." He spoke as soon as I got within hearing range.
"You're early too." I counter backed.
"A woman should never have to wait." Okay, seriously? Could he be any more perfect? "And I always like to be early, specially when I've asked some one out." Wait, wait, wait, he had asked me out? When? What? How did I miss this? He must've seen the confused look on my face because he added. "If that's okay with you obviously, if it isn't then it's just a regular outing as friends."
"No, no, it's totally fine by me. I just wasn't aware that it was a date." I shyly admitted as my cheeks turned pink.
"Glad we cleared that up then." He winked at me, taking my hand in his before opening the door and being met with the crisp morning air. Good thing I had brought a jacket with me, because it was a chilly morning. And thank god it was or Harry would be getting weird looks for wearing yet another beanie to hide his curls. He was also sporting sunglasses to avoid being recognized. We were going to take the subway but as soon as we got out we saw that there was a lot of people on the street and Harry didn't want to get recognized, so he decided to hail a cab to take us to the museum instead. It was a great idea actually because we needed to round the corner and pass through the hotel entrance to get to the subway station, and the hotel's entrance was flooded with fans.
"Great choice." I whispered to Harry once we were secured inside the cab.
"Yeah, we would've never made it out alive." He pointed out as we passed the hotel's entrance.
"My thoughts exactly." I laughed.
The usual New York traffic wasn't as bad, so it took us roughly 12 minutes to get to the museum.
"We're here." The taxi driver announced, and before I could hand him any cash, Harry paid him.
"I was gonna pay." I whined.
"I've got it covered." Harry replied and then stepped out of the cab, ending our discussion, if you could call it that. We headed inside, walking briskly so that Harry wouldn't be seen walking the streets of New York.
"Wow, it's so empty!" I exclaimed a little bit too loud as soon as we got inside.
"Yeah, it is." Harry chuckled, and I could sense something was up. He had a smirk plastered on his face, and a there was an evident trace of mischief in his stare, indicating that he knew something I didn't.
