Taisei and Reikai

Amethyst's P.O.V.

I wake up in the middle of the night, fear gripping me. I look toward the woods, sensing someone lurking. I look over at Alex, who is sleeping soundly. His nose is pressed against my shoulder and I resist the urge to laugh. I carefully move his arm away and stand up, making my way toward the trees. Suddenly something grabs my leg and I hold back a scream as I'm pulled into the forest. An elf boy with white hair stares down at me, his blue eyes shining in the moonlight. He has white marks on his cheeks and a blue feather sticking out from behind his ear.

"Amethyst" He says, and I hold back a squeal.

"Reikai!" I whisper-shout, hugging him tight. He smiles, showing perfectly white teeth. "You earned your warrior stones" I say, gesturing at the glowing blue stones around his neck. He nods, climbing off me.

"Taisei also became second in line for Tribesman" He whispers and I gasp.

"That's wonderful! Where is he?" I ask, and suddenly a giant black shadow lands from a tree. He lifts his head and his red eyes glow in the dark as he looks at me. His long ppinted ears are decorated with peircings and black armor rests on his shoulders above his bare chest.

"Hello Amethyst" Taisei says, walking closer to me. I knew that elves were supposed to be perfect specimines, but... wow. He looks much older, conisdering I was gone for six years in Tika. He comes up next to me and stares at me, his eyebrows knitting together.

"Taisei"

"Can you please tell me why you're with that human when you're my mate?"
