Shikamaru

Alright let's start with a character I know a lot- here we go))

  It had been a few years of knowing Shikamaru now and you were 18 at the time while Shikamaru was 19. Just a year older but he made it seem like so much. How mature he acted and how he wordlessly teased you by patting your head softly when you two watched the clouds blow past. You honestly found it funny but only when he did it in private. When he did it in public, it embarrassed you.

  It was just another boring day and you invited Shikamaru over for a nice little walk. "Outside the village seems nice too.." you suggested and Shikamaru threw his arms behind his head and sighed, eyeing you. "That's such a drag" he said but still came along. "Shikaa- what about we stop here?" You said as you two walked awhile out of the gates of the village and off the path.

  Shikamaru seemed to smirk slightly when he called you Shika. You were a introverted extrovert-ish type of person and didn't like calling people by their nickname but it seemed to come to his liking when you called him it so you continued to. The first time you called him that, you saw his cheeks tint a pink shade and tell you to stop, although he seemed to like it. So as a joke, you continued to because he clearly didn't hate it.

As you sat down and looked up at the soft looking clouds, you smiled softly. You eyed Shikamaru and felt heat rise to your cheeks. You had a little crush on this lazy man. (In case you were wondering, he didn't ask Temari out in this lovely world that you exist in) You felt a loud sigh escape your mouth. Emotions were exhausting and lately, it was boring. Everything ended. Akatsuki, the war, everything.

"Hey, Shika" you called out. Shikamaru hummed in response and you hesitantly pulled out the grass next to you "what would you do if you liked somebody?" You asked. "But you don't wanna ask them out because you might get rejected." You said, finally letting all the grass flow away along with the soft breeze. Shikamaru seemed to think for awhile before he smirked and let off a scoff. He eyed you after awhile. "Love is a drag. Girls are a troublesome so I wouldn't do anything" he mumbled, making you sigh "lies" you accused and he furrowed his brows together before he shrugged "Kiss them" he told you and your face lit up with confusion. "kiss somebody without even knowing if they like you back? I'm not sure about that" you stammered lightly but quickly fixed your voice. Shikamaru sighed at you and smirked "I'm sure it can work" he said before he sat up and studied you.

"Oh yeah? How do you or I know about that?" You question with a playful smirk, staring at him. "Why don't you go test it out on Temari?" You continued and teased him. It hurt you sometimes, but you found it funny. Temari clearly liked Shikamaru and you guessed Shikamaru liked her too. "Tsk" he rolled his tongue to the back of his mouth before flicking it. You laid back on your back, your H/C hair reflecting the sunlight that glared down at you.

  "So if I kiss the person I like and they like me then you'll kiss the person you like?" He said, staring at you intensely. You hesitantly nodded "I guess that's how you put it, but no need to pressure me like that" you chuckle and scratch the back of your head. "Alright, fine" Shikamaru sighed before he stretched. "Oh, now?" You asked before you began to sat up.

  Shikamaru rolled over to you and grabbed your arms before he pressed his lips against yours passionately. You felt your body stop working for awhile. You began to process everything that was happening at this very moment.

You didn't see him as the guy to kiss, but you didn't see anybody existing on this planet to be the person to kiss you, but here somebody you loved was, in a forest, kissing you. Shikamaru gently grabbed your arms and led your arms to his neck. You took the guess and wrapped your arms around his neck before you began to kiss back, feeling dizzy with happiness and confusion. Shikamaru pulled away with a teasing look. "I told you it'd work on people you like, even if it was a drag" he said before you chuckled with amusement. You stared into his lovely brown eyes, finding happiness and a tint of lust there. You blushed hard at the thought and smiled widely before you pulled him back in and softly kissed him.

Shikamaru seemed to be so passionate with you the thought made your heart melt. Shikamaru asked for entrance to your tongue and you slightly parted your lips, allowing Shikamaru to roam your mouth and leaving no place unexplored. He grasped your hand tightly before he pulled away for air. "How about some dinner?" He invited, scratching the back of his head. You raised a brow. "You can say a date if you want" you told him and he just pulled you up by your waist "how troublesome. Is it a yes or a no?" Shikamaru asked you as you two began to walk. You squeezed his hand before you happily responded

"You stupid Nara, of course it's a yes"
