I woke up to the sound of my alarm. You already know the story, I get up, brush my teeth, change, grab a protein bar, and go to the work. I parked my car in front of the precinct and headed inside, I changed into my uniform, exited the locker room, and grabbed a coffee cup.
"Good morning, Officer Manoban," my Sargeant said.
"Good morning, sir," I replied.
"Did you find out what the numbers on the wall meant," he replied.
I then choked on my coffee a little bit.
"Uhhhhhh, I'm getting close," I said, hoping that we would miss me lying.
"Okay, well, I just found a new piece of evidence right here."
My Sargeant handed me a picture of a code that looked similar to the first one.
"You should get to work on that," he said.
My Sargeant was about to leave when I called out his name.
"Sir," I said.
"Yes," he replied.
"Do you think the police are involved in this crime, in any sort of way," I asked.
"I don't know why you would think that, mam," he replied.
"I don't know, just wondering," and then he left.
I looked at the photo carefully, and this is what it said.

I was able to decode the message. Wait, am I reading this right. Jungkook wants to meet up at a restaurant. Well, okay then. I went out to my cop car and did my regular patrol. After my shift was over, I headed back to the station to wrap it up. I walked back to my car and then headed home. Once I got there, I went inside and changed out of my work clothes. I changed into some ripped jeans, a Chanel jacket, and a black shirt. I then put on some makeup, which I rarely do since I'm a cop and then head out. I then went back to my car and drove off to the restaurant.
MJ's SUSHI BAR
I walk into the restaurant and see Jungkook in the waiting area.
"Oh, Lisa, you're here," he said.
I look at him, and he looked like a fucking meal already.

"Lisa, are you okay," he asked.
"Oh yeah, sorry," I replied.
Fuck you Jungkook, I was too busy daydreaming about you. Wait, what the fuck are you thinking, Lisa, this guy is a criminal. Anyways, the waiter brought us to our table, and we ordered our food. When the waiter left, we were just talking as plates of food were just scrolling by us.
"So what do you want to talk about this time," I asked.
"Well, nothing, to be honest, I just wanted to see you," he replied.
I blushed so hard that I placed my head down onto the table.
"Lisa, are you okay," he said.
"Yeah, I'm okay," I replied. "So, since you don't have anything to talk about, I will say something."
"Okay, what is it."
"Where did you put the million-dollar teddy bear," I asked.
"Oh that, Uhm, I will need to show you that another time," he responded.
"Jungkook, just tell me where the fucking toy is," I retorted.
"Okay, okay, I gave it away," Jungkook said.
"To where," I asked.
"Like I said, I will have to show it to you another time."
I was so angry that we wouldn't tell me where it was, I got up from my chair and was about to leave when Jungkook pulled my arm down, which forced me back onto my chair. He intertwined my hand with him, and he brought it up to eye level. I blushed so hard.
"Lisa, I wanted to spend time with you," he said.
"Wait, I see what you did, this is a date isn' it," I replied.
"Yes, it is," he smirked back.
Just then, the waiter came back with our food. We dug into the meal, you know, this was a dinner I needed in a long time.
"How's the food," Jungkook asked.
I didn't respond as I kept munching on my sushi.
"Sorry, what," I gulped.
He then chuckled at me.
"I sad how's the food silly," he asked again.
"Oh, its really good," I said, still getting sushi after sushi.
I finished my plate, and he finished his. We then left the restaurant and ended up taking a stroll through the city. I see decorations of Christmas lights, inflatables hanging in the air, and a huge Christmas tree standing in the central plaza. It was just him and me walking around, holding hands as if we were a couple. The cop and the criminal, huh, that would make an excellent movie title. Tonight was a good night, I felt warm and a little bit of love at the same time.
"Let's head back," he said.
I nodded, and we headed back to the parking lot of the sushi bar.
"Okay, Lisa, I gotta go, see you later," Then, he walked off in the distance.
I went back inside my car and drove back home. Tonight, I was going to sleep well.
