LISA POV
DECEMBER 24TH
Today was the day. Christmas party, here we come. I look at the clock, and it was 5: 30 P.M, thirty more minutes until our guest arrive.
"Jungkook, are the decorations set out," I yelled.
"Yeah, all of them are in place," he shouted back.
I brought out the turkey that has been resting and the fridge and put it in a glass tray. I then cut some lemons and set them aside on the turkey. After that, I put it in the oven and let it cook.
"Okay, turkey is cooking, I am done with everything."
I put away my apron back into the drawers and went upstairs to change into my ugly sweater. I look into the mirror to give myself one final check before heading downstairs.
"Looking good," I said to myself.
"You do look good, Eomma," someone said.
I turn around and see Sarah coming inside our room.
"Are you ready have fun tonight," I said to Sarah.
"Yeah, I can't wait to open my presents," she replied.
Sarah was about to leave my room when I pulled her back into my room.
"Wait, Sarah, I want you to try this on," I said, bringing out a small ugly sweater.
Sarah put it on and immediately loved it.
"So, what do you think," I asked.
"It's so ugly I love it," she responded.
I carried Sarah downstairs and put her in front of the TV. I then put on one of my favorite Christmas movies, home alone for Sarah to keep her occupied.
"Hey honey, I'm going to get changed," Jungkook said.
"Okay, don't be too long," I replied.
I kissed him, and then he went upstairs. Now, it was just a matter of waiting for our guest to arrive for this Christmas party to get started.
*DING DONG*
I walk over to the door, open it. There, I see Jisoo with her boyfriend.
"Merry Christmas, Lisa," Jisoo said.
"Merry Christmas to you too," I replied. "Oh, is this your boyfriend, Jisoo."
"Hi, nice to meet you, my name is Jin," he said.
I greeted him with a handshake and welcomed them into our house.
