Chapter 19: Arrested

LISA POV

JANUARY 5TH

A few days passed past, and I was hanging around in my house with Jungkook and Sarah. It was peaceful in the place.

"I wish it could be peaceful all the time," I said, cuddling into Jungkook's arms.

I wish I knew what happened next because all of a sudden, my door busted done. I immediately turn around and see the task force running up to.

"GET ON THE GROUND, NOW!!!!!!!" The officer yelled at Jungkook.

Meanwhile, I was pulled away from the scene from another officer.

"Get the hell off me," I said, pushing the officer's hand away.

Just then, I see Sarah come running into my arms. I look down, and she was terrified by all the people around her.

"Eomma, I'm scared," she said, hiding her face between my legs.

"It's okay, Eomma is going to protect you," I replied.

Just then, my Sargeant goes comes into my house.

"Nice work, boys, we have captured the thief," he said.

"What the hell are you doing," I yelled at him.

"We are doing our job Lisa," is all that he replied.

"You can't just bust in my house all the time," I said.

"We have warrants to do that."

"From who," I asked.

"The mayor."

I felt as if my world was being shattered into pieces again. I see the officers handcuff Jungkook and take them to their vehicle. After that, they drove away. Heartbroken is all I could feel right now.

*CRYING*

My life was going where it wanted to go. I finally found someone I can connect with, someone I can share with, and complain about, love.

"Eomma, where did they Appa," Sarah said.

"I don't know," I replied.

Sarah then, too, broke down and cried. I cuddled with her, and we both shared a moment of sadness and loss. For one in my life, I didn't know what to do. After a few minutes, the tears stopped, and I finally took control of myself.

"Will we get him back," Sarah asked.

"Yes, we will," I replied.

"How do you know."

"Because I know I can," I said.
