LISA POV
DECEMBER 21ST
My day off and I was preserving the turkey, covering it with some seasoning and sauce, and then letting it rest in the ridge. I look up and see Jungkook in the living room playing with Sarah.
*BANG BANG*
I almost dropped a plate on the ground from the loud bang from my door.
"Who is that," Jungkook asked.
"Let me check," I replied.
I look through the peephole and see a bunch of Police me at my door.
"Shit its the police, hide," I said to Jungkook.
He then carries Sarah to a backroom in the house. After that, I open the door and see a bunch of cop cars in my driveway.
"Sir, what are you doing here," I said to my Sargeant.
"Move out of the way, Officer Manoban, I know it's your day off, but we have to do a sweep of your house."
"Why," I asked.
"We have possible sightings of the teddy bear thief near your house. We are going to do a sweep to make sure you're okay," he said.
"O~Okay," I hesitantly said.
"OKAY MEN, SEARCH THE AREA!!!!!," he yelled.
Just then, a whole task force enters my house and search the area. I was in total shock. Everything happened so fast.
"I'm telling you, sir, if the thief was here, I would've noticed. I've got a camera's setup," I said.
"Well, we just want to be sure about it," my Sargeant replied.
I just sighed and gave him a dirty look. I went upstairs and see the task force searching in Sarah's bedroom. I walk in, and they are trashing the place up.
"Hey, stop that, put that back where it belongs," I growled at them.
Just then, my Sargeant walks in.
"Sir, there is nothing here," one of the officers said.
"Okay, go to the next room," my Sargeant said.
After the officers left, my Sargeant walks into Sarah's room and looks around.
"Lisa, do you have a kid," he asked me.
"I don't think that's why of your business," I responded.
"Mam, do you have a kid, tell me, that's an order," he said back.
"Yes, I have a kid," I groaned at him.
