Dolores fumbled with the buttons on Five's shirt. Five watched her with raised brows as the button failed to go into the loop. He studied the way she bit her lip in concentration and how she would huff when she couldn't get it right.

She dropped the shirt and placed her forehead on his chest with a loud sigh. Her braids brushed his knees as she snuggled into him in frustration.

"This is hard." Five chuckled.

"Well, it's harder after you've been shot." Dolores pulled herself off of him and looked him up and down.

"You don't really need a shirt," she suggested.

"I feel like I do. I think you just want to see me without a shirt on." Dolores blushed and looked away with a shrug making Five laugh again.

"Alright, I'll finish the rest of these. Can you grab my blazer?" Dolores nodded and got off of the bed. Looking around she realized she had no idea what a blazer was. She pointed to the 'jacket' he was wearing over her. Five nodded with a smile.

Once Five was fully dressed, he grabbed Dolores's hands and pulled her close to him.

"Ready?" Dolores hesitated before pulled him into a quick kiss. Five smirked in the kiss. Dolores began to pull away but Five stepped closer to reconnect their lips. When they separated, Dolores's face was pink.

"Mhm. Ready." Together, the pair walked down the hallway until Five stopped them. With a quick knock, he opened the door. Dolores looked at Klaus who lay on his bed, covered in yarn. He fumbled with needles making her frown.

"Get up. We're going," Five called, pulling Dolores behind him.

"Where?" Dolores broke her gaze from the tangled mess of yarn.

"To save the world," she exclaimed, nonchalantly. Five nodded in agreement, squeezing her hand.

"Oh, is that all? Great."

"So, Pogo said Dad killed himself to get us all back together, right?"

"Yeah, so?" Dolores dropped Five's hand to let him pace around as he explained. Five didn't even know that she did this he was so caught up in his explanation. She watched him carefully as he paced back and forth.

"So... it got me thinking. I had to jump to the future to figure out when it happened, but Dad, he can't time travel. So how'd the crazy bastard actually know to kill himself a week before the end of the world?"

"Well, you know," Klaus pulled on his shoes as Five held up a hand.

"Don't answer. That was purely rhetorical." Five looked down, noticing his hand was no longer laced with Dolores's and brought them back together.

"Truth is, our whole lives, he's been telling us we'd save the world from an impending apocalypse."

"Yeah, but I always thought he just said that to scare us into doing the dishes."

"Me too. But what if the old man really knew it was going to happen."

"But knew how?"

"No idea. But the fact remains, his fakakta plan worked. We all came home. Since we're here, we might as well save the world" Dolores repeated the word fakakta in a whisper. She bit her lip as she pondered the meaning of it.

"Oh yeah? What, like, the three of us?" Klaus asked, motioning between them.

"Uh, well, ideally, no, but... gotta work with what I've got." The trio left the room and was met with Diego who raced around, pulling off his jacket.

"Where have you been?" Five asked.

"Jail."

"Jail?" Dolores asked. Diego turned to her.

"Long story. Where's Luther?" Dolores moved behind Five and Klaus at the mention of their very tall brother, keeping her hand intertwined with Five's

"Haven't seen him since breakfast," FIve mentioned. He gave Dolores's hand a tight squeeze.

"Yeah, two days until the world ends, and he picks a great time to drop off the grid." Diego mutters a curse and buckles his knife holsters to his chest.

"Allison is in danger." The brothers look at each other in worry but Dolores looked back at Five.

Dolores helped Five along as they walked into a bar, Diego and Klaus led the way. She gripped onto Five's arm tightly as she saw Luther hunched over at a table with a drink in hand.

"Trying a little hair of the dog, are we?" Klaus asked. Dolores turned to Five but he cut her off before she could speak.

"It's an expression, ladybug." Dolores frowned. She hated expressions. They didn't make any sense.

"Leave me alone," Luther grumbles. Dolores turns to leave but Five pulls her back.

"Give us a minute," Diego waved them off.

"Come on, maybe they'll brood each other to death." Dolores kept her strong grip on Five and followed Klaus. She leaned against the table as she studied Diego and Luther.

"We should leave him behind." Five chuckled and crossed his arms over his chest which made Dolores frown. She held out her arm, pulling up her sleeve where the bruise once was.

"Bruise, remember? It was his fault," she pulled her sleeve back down and gave Five a sad puppy look. It took everything in Five to not break out into a smile or reach over and hug her tightly.

"I never said I disagreed baby girl but we need him." Dolores huffed once again in annoyance.

"Positive?"

"Positive," Five looked down at Dolores's hand that rested on the table. He uncrossed his arms and placed his hand on top. Dolores looked back and smiled.

"You should have lead with that!" Dolores flinched and pulled her hand out from under Five's.
