Percy
I walked into the Olympian's meeting I was supposed to be at with Jason and Leo at my heels.
"Son! Take a seat!" called my dad, Poseidon. I walked over, hands in my pockets, and sat down next to him.
"Is everyone here?" called Zeus.
"Yup. All the seats are filled," said Hera.
"First order of business, how is service going? We will go around the room, starting with yours truly." he gestured to himself. I rolled my eyes. "Business is better than ever. We have at least twenty thousand people flying our airlines daily."
"My school is full. No more people can attend." Hera said smugly.
"The ocean is being curred." said dad proudly. Across the table from us, Athena snorted.
"Something to say, Athena?" Zeus turned his head in her direction.
"When Poseidon says that the ocean is being 'curred', does he mean demolished? Annabeth, here, did a bit of research to see if building underwater would be safe, but there's so much trash in the ocean that we can't even attempt it."
"BUILDING UNDERWATER?! You have seven perfectly fine continents to build on, you will not destroy the ocean's floor for your petty builds!" my dad said angrily, standing up.
"Poseidon, Athena, calm down. Hades, how's business?"
"With the recent crime wave I've had so many people to defend and it's just lovely." Hades looked bored.
"We need another war so I have excuses to blow stuff up!" Ares said.
"NO! What are you, deranged?" screamed Artemis.

When the meeting was over, I walked over to Jason and Leo.
"I'm starting to think I don't want to take over my dad's company...I mean imagine all of us sitting there shouting at each other?"
"Nothing that doesn't happen on a daily basis." Leo shrugged.
"Hey, how long until ou have to get Annie from school?" asked Jason.
"I have to be home in about three hours. She wanted to start riding the bus for some reason so..."
"Oh. No beach, I guess." Jason hung his head.
"Jason I have a pool and live right next to the beach."
"Oh yeah. Why don't you ever go to the beach there?"
"I go there all the time." I shrugged.
"Yeah right. Let's go there, then since Annie is riding the bus we'll just go up and wait for her, then go back to the beach." Leo waved his hands around. I shook my head.
"No. I have to go to work. It's Monday."
"Oh, yeah! Jase, we have to go to the pizza place to run that place. I left Melanie in charge, but you know what happens when she's in charge." Jason shuddered.
"Perce, come by and preform sometime!" I sighed.
"Fine. How about I clear my schedule next week?"
"YES! FINALLY! Got any new songs?" asked Jason.
"No, but I have plenty of good old ones." Then Leo's eyes lit up.
"We should get our band back together."
"Can I bring my flute?" Leo and I looked at Jason, skeptical.
"You? Playing flute? I don't believe it." I laughed.
"I'm kidding. Piper plays flute. I think Annabeth still plays keyboard...I know that Hazel plays cello. Leo does the drums, I play bass, Frank usually worked with the techy stuff. Oh, and Percy was our lead singer and guitarist." I didn't realize he was talking to my dad until I looked away from the silk worm inching it's way up the window.
"Whatchya looking at, Percy?" my dad asked, standing next to me.
"That silk worm on the window, see it?" I pointed. We both stared at it for at least five minutes, before someone snapped there fingers in front of us.
"You done?" asked Jason.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. But look at that silk worm on the window!" Dad pointed, and Jason looked up in interest. Minutes later, someone cleared their throat behind us. We all turned, surprised.
"Jason, you ready to go? Annabeth needs us to babysit Rosie. She has to do something about this guy–Gabe I think she said–keeps calling her and she needs to go punch him in the face." Piper stood with her arms crossed. I paled a bit.
"No–are you crazy?!" I whisper-shouted.
"Um, no? Jelous?" Piper wiggled her eyebrows.
"NO! Gabe is my ex-stepdad. He is a drug dealer. Last year Annabeth got into a...situation...with him. Is she already going there?"
"Yes..." Piper looked scared.
"Shit! That's not good...when did Annabeth leave?"
"Maybe five minutes ago?" I groaned.
"I've told her before that Gabe's not a good guy."
"Hate to break it to you, but she's not going to listen to you. Now go save your princess and break up with Karen."
"Her name is Kelli, and I was planing on it anyway."
"We know. But Karen is a better fit."

I got out of my car and looked around. Annabeth wasn't there yet, and I didn't think that Gabe had moved. I breathed out a sigh of relief. I looked around for Gabe's camaro, and found it parked behind the building. I pulled out my phone and dialed 911.
"Hello this is 911 please state your emergency."
"Hi I'm Percy Jackson and I found an illegal drug dealer." I said.
"Who is it?" asked the person on the other end of the line.
"Gabe Ugliano."
"You found him? We've been looking for months. Address?"
"146 E 19th St. Brooklyn, NY 11226." I said.
"Well be over in five minutes." said the person. I hung up, but my satisfaction didn't last long.
"I've warned you before, boy. Mess with me, and everyone gets hurt." Gabe growled from behind me. I felt a gun barrel presset against my back. I froze.
"What do you want, Gabe?" I heard sirens whirring in the distance. Good.
"I want you gone, boy. I've wanted you gone for twenty three years."
"Jeez, you make me sound old." I said, rolling my eyes.
"I'm the one with the gun, here." he said, his hot breath singeing the hair off the back of my neck. I saw Annabeth's car pull up. She saw me took one look at us and put her head in her hands. The sirens were getting closer.
"Here's the girly." Gabe took the gun off my back, and I was about to shout to Annabeth, but I felt a sharp pain in my leg and arm. Looking down, I saw that he shot me.
"You shot me." I said before falling on the ground from the pain. The last thing I saw was Gabe shooting at Annabeth, and her falling on the ground, clutching her stomach.
