Amaya
"Aarav! Is everything ready? Is there anything I can do to help?" I asked him.
I came here to ask him if he could drop me at Jameson's place. Later I found out that he is proposing to his girlfriend today.
After, the accident my driver's license got revoked. Andrew dropped and picked me up the first few days, and I didn't wanna bother him anymore. So, Arjun did that for the next few days until now. He said that he won't be able to do it today and Andrew is out of town. I should do an Uber or a Lyft.
"Yeah! No, you should just take a rest. I'm so nervous Amy." Aarav exclaimed.
"It's okay! I'm sure she will say yes. If she doesn't, I will make her say her for you." I hugged him assuring him she will. She loves him like crazy so she will say yes.
"I am not paying you to talk to everyone. Why did I not find you at your desk?" Yelled Jameson breaking our hug.
"Keep me posted! Bye." Saying that I left Aarav and walked towards Jameson.
Jameson is going to be the death of me. It's hard to make a person fall in love with you who's adamant about not responding back. It's been 8 days but no progress, even though we have been living together. He keeps avoiding me or yelling at me.
"Aww! Did you miss me? You should've just called." I winked at him holding his hand.
He is trying to wiggle his hand out of mine but I just held it harder.
"Why do I find you at Aarav's or Andrew's every single time? Can't you keep working? Do you have to talk to them every hour?" He hissed at me.
"I didn't have anything to do. I can be with whoever I want, you have been acting like a brat these days. Why don't you continue to avoid me like you have been doing the last week? " I replied to him and left.
I am tired of this, I'm giving him my hundred percent efforts, but there is no progress here.
After that night he stopped coming to my room and his house when I'm there. He leaves the house way too early and comes in late. I tried everything. And on top of that, he is leaving for Hawaii the day after tomorrow for 3 days. I got 6 days left and 3 of them are gonna go to waste.
I sighed thinking about all this and looked at the clock it is almost 10 at night. I looked at Jameson's room but the lights were out indicating he left too.
I slowly walked myself out, and to my bad luck it is snowing out here. I don't have a ride or a jacket.
I opened my phone to look for an Uber, but I couldn't find any. Awesome! Now I have to walk.
When did I get this lucky?
I started walking towards the bus stop which is half a mile from the office in this 2-feet snow. I'm regretting all of my decisions right now.
What am I doing here?
Did I make the right decision coming here for him?
Will he ever confess his love? If I fail, what is my next step? Should I leave him after this week or am I gonna continue the fight for us?
BEEEEPPPPPP...
Who the hell is honking now? I turned my head to see what kind of idiot honked at me for walking.
"Are you crazy? Why are you walking?" I heard Jameson shout and opened the car door for me.
"There was no Uber, so I thought I could walk to the bus stop," I told him shivering.
