Karmanami: Intertwined.....

Chapter II

It's been a few weeks since the new session of Kunugiagoka High School started and while Manami and Karma seemed to have adjusted well to the school the same couldn't be said for Asano. It seems like his father's past had caught his son now. Though his father was a changed man, he still had the reputation of a tyrant principal and his son was put in the same boat.

"Asano kun, have lunch with us." Calls Manami.

"Thanks but I'm going out." Asano declines the offer and leaves the classroom.

"You shouldn't invite him. You're just going to embarass yourself you know." Sighs Karma.

"I don't know, I just feel like he wants to open up but he isn't able to." Says Manami.

"Tch... We live in the same apartment and he's never walked to school together with us. It's not that he is not able to open up, he just doesn't want to open up."

Asano goes to the roof of the school and opens his burger packet.

"I really shouldn't have come to this school." Sighs Asano.

Back in the classroom Manami and Karma were having their lunch.

"Say Okuda san, how far have you read the guide book by korosensei." Asks Karma.

"It's really a big book and I've finished just a quarter of it but you know it's because of that book only that I'm able to finally know what I want to do and I joined this school because of that only."

"Really? What is that?" Asks Karma

"Uh um... It's a secret." Answers Manami while stammering.

While the two were having their food silently a girl knocks over Asano's bag. She picks it up and puts it in place.

"That's the Asano guy right? You know I heard his father was a corrupted person  and had to resign because of that only." Laughs out the students who were with her

"I also heard that his mother left the house because of his father only."

Manami who could hear everything was slowly losing her patience.

"Asano gets his personality from his father only." The students laugh off.

"You know I heard that he usually gets the highest marks in his junior high, I'm sure his father helps him with that."

With that Manami had heard enough she slams the table hard.

"Excuse me you guys, do you even have any idea what you are talking about." Said Karma as a surprised Manami watches him.

"What do you mean?" Asks one of the students.

"Do you know Asano personally? His family or how he lives? Please don't make such nasty comments about people you don't know, it makes you look like smartasses only." Answers Karma.

"Asano kun is a nice person and I may not know him a lot but I really believe that he's a very good human being. It's easy for you to judge others quickly but let's be a little kind to each other and maybe know them more before saying such mean things." Adds Manami

The gossiping students mouth were shut and they went out of the classroom. Outside the classroom Asano sighs. It seems like he may have heard some things and thought he seemed relieved, he also looked a little disappointed.

"I need to thank those two properly." Says Asano to himself.
