I rubbed my opaline skin with my washcloth. I even made it turn red with the aggressive friction I was giving it, clenching my teeth. Today was the first day that Taehyung gave me to find Hanseul. I had today and tomorrow to flush him out, since I was given forty-eight hours to do so.

I kept rubbing my body and I stopped when it started to hurt and to be sensitive. I had to erase Jiho from my skin, but also from my thoughts. It was only when I was in the shower that I could slowly make it disappear.

Eventually, I came out of the shower with reddish skin. I put on a pair of sweatpants and a sweater and headed to my room. I had to hurry to find Hanseul. I lay on my bed and opened my laptop. I started looking for information about the warehouse and found the address so I typed it down on my phone.

I put away my computer and sighed as I looked at my pillow. I gently lifted it up and saw the white envelope. I didn't know how to tell my mother about it, I didn't know how I could give it to her, so for now I'm going to keep it there under my pillow. I had to find another place to hide it even though I didn't risk that much since my mom hardly ever came into my room.

As for the little bag I had found at Jiho's, I had put it in a small kit that I was no longer using, in a drawer of my desk. I had to tell Taehyung, but I didn't know how.

I got up and put jeans on. I quickly went downstairs and put on a warm jacket. As I was tying my shoelaces, my mother appeared, dressed in a pretty red dress.

"Are you going out?" She asked me.

"Mmh. I'll let you know if I don't come home tonight."

"All right," she whispered.

I saw her looking at herself in the mirror. I frowned.

"You're going out too?" I asked her back.

"Yes... I'm seeing him again, the man I dated last time. We're going to spend the afternoon and the evening together."

"Oh."

I tried to put on a reassuring smile, then said goodbye before going out, the cold air hitting my face. I wasn't really pleased to know that my mom was dating someone but she hadn't dated anyone since my father had died. It would probably feel weird if we had a new person living with us. I shook my head; it wasn't about to happen yet.

I pulled out my phone and typed in the address of the the warehouse since I'd never been there before. I then followed the directions on the application and took two subway lines. My mind was elsewhere, and I quickly arrived at the front of the bar. Apparently, it was more of a nightclub but way smaller than the one I was working in.

I walked in, seeing no guard at the door, and took a look around. A very narrow dance floor was in the middle of the room. There was a bar to my right, tables and chairs to my left. Nothing shocking so far; this place looked like where I worked. I walked over to the bartender who seemed to be counting the money in his till.
