BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BE-

SLAM

(Y/n)'s eyes snapped open at the sudden noises. They looked over to see Bakugou slamming his fist on an alarm clock next to his bed. Letting out a sigh, they put their head against the wall again. They glanced to their phone and picked it up, turning it on. They were greeted with hundreds, no, thousands, of notifications from YouTube. They never turned off notifications, as they loved reading through everyone's comments.

But the notifications that caught their eye the most was several missed calls and text messages from Hitoshi. Hitoshi was their one and only friend, and one of the few people who didn't care about how famous they were. Hitoshi knew that they were really famous, but he didn't treat them as such. He treated them as if they were any normal person. That's what (Y/n) liked about him. Honestly, they liked anyone who treated them like a normal person. Which is probably the reason why they decided to stay with Bakugou for the time being.

(Y/n) opened up their messages, seeing multiple texts from Hitoshi, and texted him. "I'm fine now. A guy from class 1a saved me and I stayed with him overnight. Can you ask Aizawa for a uniform? Mine is at home and I don't dare go back there..."

Hitoshi replied almost instantly with an "Already done," and (Y/n) put their phone in their pocket, looking over to Bakugou. He was sitting up in his bed, watching them closely, as if he didn't exactly trust them.

"Something wrong?" (Y/n) asked. Bakugou 'tch'ed and looked elsewhere, getting up from his bed.

"How long are you planning on staying exactly?" He asked.

"I don't know. But I recall you dragging me here," (Y/n) sassed, earning a sharp glare from Bakugou. (Y/n) looked away, pushing the blanket off their legs and standing up to stretch, their knees cracking as they stood. They yawned quietly and glanced over at Bakugou, who was grabbing a uniform from his closet.

"Do you have any clothes or are you a dumbass?" He asked.

"My friend got a uniform from Aizawa. I'll change when I get there," (Y/n) replied. "I'll be downstairs while you get changed." They went to leave his room, not wanting to be questioned.

"Wait how the hell do you know Aizawa-sensei? And who the hell is your 'friend?' I thought you had no friends," Bakugou questioned. (Y/n) sighed through their nose and turned their head briefly in his direction.

"I go to your school, Bakugou. I know all the teachers. And my friend is a guy from my class, who happens to be the only one who understands me. And before you ask why I didn't think about him before trying to off myself, he doesn't need me. He would probably be upset for a bit, but would eventually get over it, make new friends, forget about me. Any other questions, Bakugou?" (Y/n) answered. Bakugou opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out.

"No? Great. I'll meet you at school." And with that, (Y/n) left the room, considering slamming the door for a minute, but then remembered how Mitsuki would react, and closed it gently.

They walked down the stairs, glancing back to make sure Bakugou wasn't following them, and went to the front door.

"Good morning (L/n)! Do you want some breakfast?" Mitsuki called. (Y/n) looked behind them, waving a little to the woman cooking in the kitchen.

"I'll pass. I'm gonna head to school early. See you later maybe," they said, opening the front door and walking out.

No one went after them.

A few hours later

Bakugou took a tray and filled it with food, but instead of sitting where he usually did, he walked to the General Studies classroom. He pushed open the door, seeing only one student in there. Bakugou recognized him to be the bitch who had insulted him more than once, and was one of his specific enemies besides Deku. Bakugou growled, slamming the tray on the desk next to the kid, sitting down angrily.

"The hell do you want??" Bakugou asked, not even looking at him.

"I see you got my note. Good thing you came, I was getting ready to force you here," he said, turning to Bakugou. He stuck his hand out. "I'm Shinsou, if you didn't know." Bakugou growled, looking at his hand, then slapped it away.

"You didn't answer my question dumbass."

"I know. I'm getting to that. I was trying to just have a normal conversation to start, but since you want me to get to the point..." Shinsou shifted his chair around to face Bakugou entirely, and pushed it a little forward so he was right in front of him. Bakugou looked over at him and raised an eyebrow.

"I wanted to personally thank you for helping (Y/n) out. If it weren't for you, they wouldn't be here today," Shinsou said.

"Well no shit they almost jumped off a fucking bridge," Bakugou retorted.

"I know, you don't have to remind me. But, as their friend, I should've been the one saving them. And I mentally kick myself at the thought of them jumping without me knowing.

"You being there and stopping them wasn't just luck, it was a sign. I told (Y/n) that and they actually understood. I'm hoping that they aren't going to try anything else, but I won't always be there. From what (Y/n) told me, they're staying with you, right?

"So I need you to promise you'll stop them from trying anything, since you'll most likely be the only one around to stop them. And possibly the only one who can stop them. If I tried to stop them, I'm afraid that they wouldn't care, since I'm their only friend.

"If you agree to help them, then they'd consider you a friend as well, giving them more reason to live. Do you understand?" Shinsou explained as best as possible. Bakugou thought on it for a few minutes, then growled out a response.

"Fine. I'll help the shithead not kill themselves or whatever." Shinsou smiled a little.

"Thanks Bakugou. I hope you'll stay true to your word. You can go back to the lunchroom now if you want. I'll see you some other time, yeah?" Bakugou stood up without a word, grabbing his half eaten tray of food, leaving the room, and walking back to the lunchroom.

When he got there, he looked around, looking for (Y/n). He didn't see them anywhere. It was weird to him, since Shinsou was their only friend. He didn't know where they would sit, as they weren't with Shinsou and they weren't sitting by themselves in the cafeteria.

Bakugou walked over to the table he normally sat at, but before he got to it he stopped. (Y/n) was there, eating their food in silence, wearing a hoodie with the hood covering their head, and adding an occasional remark to the conversation going on at the table. The main thing Bakugou noticed is that they were sitting right next to his usual seat, leaving an empty spot just for him. He smirked a little and slammed his tray down on the table like normal, sitting down.

"Hey Bakubro!" Shitty hair greeted. Bakugou ignored him and continued eating. He glanced over at (Y/n) a few times, but never spoke up, and neither did (Y/n). It wasn't awkward though, considering that they were both adding to the conversation between everyone at times, they just never spoke one on one. Bakugou wanted to, but whenever he opened his mouth, it was dry and he couldn't speak.

Plus, he didn't even know what he would say. Finally, (Y/n) spoke up.

"Bakugou.." Said boy looked over to them, about to glare, but then he realized their sad expression. His gaze softened and he nodded for them to continue.

"Thank you for saving me."

Bakugou smiled a little, pushing their hood aside and ruffling their hair.

"No problem Shithead."

(Y/n) pouted and pulled the hood back over their head, going back to eating their food.
