5. Arcade Day Part I

(Y/n) walked to the cafe, hood still over their head. Even though they had a wig on, they still didn't want to risk showing their face very much. They opened the cafe door, a little bell ringing at the top. (Y/n) looked around and saw Katsuki and his friends all sitting at a table, eating pastries and drinking coffee. One of them noticed (Y/n) and waved.

"Hey Kaori!" The red head called. (Y/n) smiled and waved back, walking over to the table, pulling up a chair and sitting down.

"Hey guys. Sorry I was late, I had to pick something up from the store," (Y/n) said.

"It's fine!" The pink haired girl waved it off.

"So what are your names?" (Y/n) asked.

"Oh right, totally unmanly, my bad. I'm Kirishima Eijirou!" The red head said.

"I'm Ashido Mina! You can call me Mina though." The pink haired girl beamed.

"And I'm Sero!" The black haired guy finished.

"So how did you meet Bakugou, Kaori?" Kirishima asked.

"Well, our parents used to be friends when we were younger, so we basically grew up together," (Y/n) made up on the spot.

"That means you must know Midoriya, right Kaori?" Mina asked. (Y/n) was about to answer "yes," but Katsuki quickly elbowed them.

"No. Shitty Deku and shi- Kaori never met. Deku and I were never friends, how would he know about Kaori??" Katsuki said. (Y/n) internally sighed at Katsuki's save. They had no idea that Midoriya was Deku's real name, and if they had said yes, then that only would've made things worse. Considering Deku knew who they were.

"Oh. We could introduce you-"

"Kaori isn't going anywhere with that fucker," Katsuki cut Mina off before she could finish. She nodded, taking a bite of her cinnamon roll.

When they had all finished their breakfast, the group of teens headed to the arcade. It had been a while since (Y/n) had been to the arcade, considering they couldn't go anywhere without being recognized. All they remembered was that they were God tier at Space Invaders.

What (Y/n) didn't know was that Katsuki also considered himself a Space Invaders God.

The teens conversed at which games they were going to try out first. (Y/n) didn't say much, as they didn't really feel entirely comfortable, and felt pretty nervous about the amount of people there were.

"Hah! You fuckers really think I'd play loser games like those? Go fuck yourselves I'm going my own way." And with that, Katsuki strode off into the arcade. (Y/n) freaked out, immediately rushing to Katsuki's side. The rest of the group watched them from afar, snickering quietly and muttering to each other.

"Katsuki! What the fuck??" (Y/n) cried out, reaching said male. "You can't just leave me like that in front of all these people! I'll get noticed.." Katsuki scowled at them.

"Don't look so attached to me it will look bad on my reputation. Go play a game but don't act like we're friends," Katsuki said, turning his gaze to the machine in front of him.

"Space Invaders.." (Y/n) muttered, their eyes lighting up.

"Yeah, wanna play? I'd beat your ass at this game any day," Katsuki said with a proud smirk. (Y/n) smirked lightly.

"Bet."

This was shorter, but that's 'cause the next chapter gonna be a bit to write, so I wanted to get something out so you don't have to wait too long

Tbh this is my favorite book to write and I write a lot of books

But yeah I'm really excited about writing this :D
