After about an hour or so, Katsuki emerged from his room. He leaned over the railing of the staircase to see (Y/n)'s small figure curled up in the corner of the couch, watching the TV screen intently. Their whole body was covered with blankets, only their head being visible, and they were shoving chips one by one into their mouth. Normally this would've angered Katsuki, but after giving it some thought, he realized that they probably rarely ate. They did look fairly skinny the first time they had met, and they still did. He just didn't pay it much mind.

Moving his attention to the TV screen before them, he quickly recognized the show to be National Geographic. Two guys were observing a wild panda eating bamboo. Katsuki smiled a little, seeing why they were so glued to the show. The panda was pretty adorable.

"Having fun?" Katsuki called down. (Y/n) looked up at him with a nod, then turned back to the screen before replying.

"This is pretty entertaining, wanna watch with me?" They held up a bag of chips and shook them, as if he were a cat and that would make him come down.

"Fine, damn loser. But let me make you lunch first, you haven't eaten a normal meal in hours. (F/f), right?" Katsuki said, walking down the stairs.

"Ooh yes. I'm surprised you still remember what my favorite food is, I've only had it once since I've been here," they pointed out, folding the bag of chips to seal it

"I have a great memory, what can I say," Katsuki replied with a smirk. "How about you? You got a good memory?" (Y/n) stood from the couch and strutted over to the kitchen, leaning against a wall.

"Pssh, yeah. You like spicy curry," they said, folding their arms across their chest.

"You're lucky; it's easy to remember. Do you remember any of the names of the extras you hung out with yesterday?" (Y/n) thought for a minute and shook their head.

"I'm bad with names," they stated.

"So I do have a better memory than you. Knew it." (Y/n) tilted their head to the side and narrowed their eyes.

"Katsuki... you don't even remember their names... and you've known them a lot longer than I have..."

"NOW YOU SHUT THE HELL UP I DO TOO REMEMBER THEIR NAMES!!" They flinched at his tone, uncrossing their arms and letting them drop to their sides.

"Sure you do. What's the name of the pink-haired girl?" Katsuki went silent, then let out a low growl. "Told you. I'm right, you're wrong," (Y/n) said, pushing themselves off of the wall and sitting on the counter next to where Katsuki was cooking. They watched every step he took in the cooking process carefully. "Damn you cook it better than I do. I usually skip all those little steps."

"Nothing is a 'little step' in cooking. Every step is just as important, how hard is that to fucking understand?" (Y/n) put their hands up defensively.

"Damn alright, sorry. I don't get much time to cook usually so I have to go as fast as I can. Whenever I get a chance to cook I have to rush everything, so I never focus on the steps that I consider to be little. As someone who would eat frozen raw vegetables out of the bag and scour through the dumpster for leftovers, I think a couple missing ingredients or some shitty outcome due to the rushing is pretty good," (Y/n) explained. Katsuki went completely silent, and they realized what they had just told him. "Sorry about that, that rant was completely random and had no relevance. Just... forget you heard anything..." They jumped off the counter and walked out of the kitchen and into the living room.

Katsuki let out a sigh through his nose and made sure the food was cooking perfectly. Then, he followed (Y/n) into the living room, eyeing them as they leaned against the arm of the couch, watching the television. He walked up behind them and carefully wrapped his arms around them. They flinched, as they weren't expecting the sudden touch, but Katsuki held them close to him, giving them a reassuring feeling that they were safe. They relaxed against him and refrained from ranting anymore of their life.
