(Marley's POV)
The tortures continued. I felt dead. I needed Luke right now and he wasn't there. I was beaten and yelled at. I was starved. I was about to pass out when I heard cars pull up, and then everything went to chaos. There were bullets flying across the room. Rufus stayed low, unchained me and took me out the back door. He took me outside, but he was surrounded. He was holding me by the forearm and was holding a gun to my head.
"Put the gun down." A policeman ordered. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mikey's rusty old car, and sure enough there were 3 boys watching. There were only 3. All of them except Luke were in the car.
"Rufus, let the girl go." He was well known . I cringed.
"I will shoot her!" He yelled. Just then, I saw a flash and then my body collapsed to the ground. I heard a gun shot and then a million more. Then, the world turned dark.
