They all sat on one side of the desk while I sat across from them.

"It's very nice to meet you Miss Quinn." I appreciated them using the name I had gone by for the past 14 years of my life. I shook their hands.

"We have heard all about your relationship with Mr. Hemmings." The one man said. I looked to Miss Marin.

"Listen, Luke is my boyfriend. I love him and I would do anything for that boy. I can't wait to do this with him." I said.

"About that, you can't come on tour with the boys."

"What?!" I yelled.

"It's not what their fans want. There's going to be millions of screaming girls wanting a Luke Hemmings and you're getting in the way of that. You seem like a sweet girl, but it's bad publicity. You want him to be successful don't you?" I thought about this.

"Marley, it's for the best. Besides I think we both know I will never be ready to sign you off. If you were to go with them without me signing, it would be kidnap. The last thing their company needs is a kidnapping scandal." My 'mom' said.

"I just-" I started.

"You have a life here, Marley. You are almsot done with your senior lessons and you are only 16. College is an option. You can be very important. You aren't a superstar client, you are Marley the orphan and that's how it should stay." Miss Marin reasoned.

"I don't want to hurt his career." I said. I felt myself breaking. I felt myself wearing away with time.

"You know what you need to do." A man nodded to me. I wiped a few tears from my eyes, stood up, and took a deep breath. I walked out. I looked in the kitchen. I found him. I grabbed his arm. I took a deep breath.

"I need to talk to you." I pulled him out onto the porch.
