(Marley's POV)
Carter texted me,
"Had fun today ;) lets do that again -Carter"
I just ignored him. I lay in bed and tried to fall asleep and I couldn't. All I could think About was Luke. After a while I fell asleep of exhaustion. I woke up and Miss Marin was laying over me.
"Why didn't you answer Carter?! He's at the door and he wants to know if you're okay?" She demanded, hand on her hip.
"I don't like him, Miss Marin." I groaned, sitting up. She sat down.
"Well, then who do you like?" She asked, with a sweet voice. This is weird, but I decide to talk to her.
"I like, luke." I shrugged.
"Really? Marley, it's been like 6 years." She reasoned.
"So?" I asked. She came closer to me and took my hand. I tried to pull back, but she wouldn't let me.
"I know I haven't been the nicest person, but I try not to do things I've done in the past. So, I need to tell you this... There comes a time in life where it's okay to forget. It's okay to move on. If it's holding you back, let go. But if letting him go is going to changed who you are, hold on to him." She smiled. "Becuase who you are is someone who should never change." I didn't respond. I didn't think. I just hugged her. I abruptly grabbed on to the woman and wouldn't let go. She seemed surprised at first but then she placed her around me too.
"Thankyou." I whispered. She left me with a smile. I cleaned myself up and went downstairs.
