Terryer:

Type: Fire

Ability: Blaze

Terryer, the winged reptile pokemon.

Dex entry 1: Even though they have wings, Terryer are unable to fly. They constantly will jump and flap their wings to try to gain lift off.

Dex entry 2: Though they lack the ability to fly. This pokemon is capable of gliding short distances in order to escape danger.

Dex entry 3: Studies have shown that this pokemon lived during the same time as many prehistoric pokemon. Fossils show that Terryer had stronger wings and was most likely able to fly back then.

Dex entry 4: This quick tempered pokemon might look weak, but don't be fooled. Terryer can fire powerful fire attacks by cupping their mouth together and firing a cannon-like blast.


Terrianodon:

Type: Fire

Ability: Blaze

Terrianodon, the Pteranodon pokemon

Dex entry 1: Usually nesting on the sides of cliff. This pokemon glides across the surface of water to catch its prey.

Dex entry 2: Terrianodon don't usually flap their wings. They prefer to soar calmly in the air.

Dex entry 3: Normally very skittish. Terrianodon will usually flee but can fight back with powerful fire attacks and sharp claws if necessary.

Dex entry 4: Females and Males share a close bond. Each one will take turns to go get food and bring to back to the nest. They are known to mate for life.


Pyrodactyl:

Type: Fire Dragon

Ability: Blazing Fury, Boosts the power of any Fire or Dragon moves the user knows by 2x when HP drops below half

Pyrodactyl, the Winged Fireball pokemon

Dex Entry 1: With their powerful wings, they fly to great heights. Tucking into a dive, they surround themselves in fire and dash into opponents at tail-blazing speeds. Many people mistake them for crashing meteors.

Dex entry 2: It is capable of walking both four legs and on two. They are usually found nesting on volcanoes.

Dex Entry 3: Pyrodactyl are known to start rivalries with other pokemon they see as a worthy opponent. However, Pyrodactyl are very caring and protective towards the ones they love and will sacrifice themselves to protect them.

Dex Entry 4: There is an ancient tale about a Pyrodactyl who battled a Tyranitar. This legend has been passed down for many generations.

Mega Pyrodactyl:

Ability: Levitate

Dex entry: Its blood is boiling with fire power due to tremendous power. It fires powerful beams of lava at its opponents.

The Terryer line was inspired by the prehistoric creature, Pterosaur.

Names:

Terryer is a play on the word Terror and Pterosaur

Terrianodon is a combination of Pteranodon and Terror

Pyrodactyl is a combination of Pyro and Pherodactyl

Final evolution:

Pyrodactyl's design was heavily inspired by Rodan from Godzilla

Shiny coloration inspiration:

The shiny form was mainly inspired by Beast Boy's Pterodactyl form and a default green Pterosaur
