"Take a look at that snout!"

This is the Sandshrew/Drillbur line of Dranowa. Its also a beast like Excadrill was in gen 5.

This pokemon also has a unique variation. There is a chance to find this pokemon with spots, if your lucky, a shiny spotted one.

Type: Ground

Ability: Sand Force (hidden ability still in decision)

Dex entry 1: Its whiskers are as tough as steel. It uses them to feel its way through dark tunnels to find food.

Dex entry 2: When in danger, Schrew will wedge themselves into tight spaces to avoid predators by rotating their bodies in a circular motion. Many people compare this to how screwdrivers and screws work.

Dex entry 3: There is a rare gene that has been observed among this pokemon. People have reported seeing Schrew with spots on them.

Noggindrill:

(Yes i named this pokemon based on a character from an old show called Zoboomafoo, who remembers it?)

Noggindrill, the drillhead pokemon.

Type: Ground/Steel

Ability: Sand Force (hidden ability still in decision)

Dex Entry 1: It digs tunnels using its plated head by rolling into a ball and spinning rapidly. They are believed to have descended from a common ancestor closely related to that of Drillbur and Sandshrew.

Dex entry 2: The plates on its head shield it from dirt while it digs. Noggindrill will use these plates to fight off any challengers.

Dex entry 4: Arcranium live in burrows usually found in caves and grasslands. They dig these by using their claws and tail and are known to leave large mounds of dirt from where they have been digging.

Mega Arcrainium:

(I actually drew this long before the rest of the line

(I actually drew this long before the rest of the line. This started out as a random mega doodle for Acranium so i kept it. Just cleaned it up a bit and added some color to it.)

Dex entry: Thanks to mega evolution, its plates have become even tougher. Attacks will bounce right off of its armor without it noticing.

Inspirations:

The first two forms were inspired by a shrew along with Drillbur and Sandshrew.

Schrew's name is a mix between Screw and Shrew

Arcranium is based on an Aardvark:

Arcrainium is a mix between aardvark and cranium.
