Never Give Up

CHAPTER SEVEN

(SARAHS POV)

"Sarah it's becoming a real possibility that (Y/N) wont make it through this. We're doing the best we can, round the clock, but we've seen no real changes. There's no easy way to say this but we have to tell you to just be prepared"

The nurses voice faded around me as I felt more hot tears stream down my cheeks. 

"No." I snapped back. "I will not give up" my voice cracked as I tried holding in sobs. "I will never give up."

I took hold of (Y/N'S) motionless hand and held it tight. The nurse stepped out quietly leaving me in the room where the only sound was my crying and the beeps of monitors. I leaned over giving (Y/N) a kiss as my tears fell unto her cheeks. As I wiped them I felt a gentle squeeze of my hand. I held on tighter and yelled for the nurses, telling them I felt her squeeze my hand.

"It's possible it was a muscle reflex, ma'am, it doesn't necessarily mean she's improving."

"No. I know (Y/N) and I know shes waking up. I know she knows I'm here. She can feel me. I know she can."
