Amoret.

Hadyn and I decided to skip the classes and exit the school when the bell rings. I, well, also decided to leave the punishment thing for tomorrow.

I guess it won't hurt. (hehe)

While waiting for the bell to ring and for the time to pass, we strolled around the school garden. It wasn't wide enough, but it's an adequate place to relax and talk to someone something serious.

With the bushes on the side, small trees and flowery shrubs plus the grass on the ground; it became a beautiful place. Good thing that the school decided to fill this area with green things than a lifeless piece of yard.

After the stroll, we decided to sit on a bench under the ten year old butternut walnut tree. Too old to have markings graven on its bark. Poor tree, it never deserved to be marked with R heart J, Jamille loves Hans and other petty shits.

It is also big enough to cover one-fourth of the garden, but not big enough to fill the silence between us. We barely made a conversation after we exited the clinic. If there was, it's only a mere talk.

No one dares to speak out, even me for one reason.

I don't know what to talk about after this damn day.

This dang day.

I got caught by the big guard, an argument with Hadyn and with Tatya, and my best friend fainted out of nowhere. If you'd ask me, I think this day has a curse. It absolutely had. It let me travelled around circumstances like a roller coaster.

But in the midst of all, I still have hope.

Despite of all the darkness that surrounds you, you need to think positive, right? That's what old folks would say.

Just always think positive.

I suddenly heard him sigh, and he asked me, "Are you okay?", without turning his head to me.

I exhaled, "Yeah, pretty much", I responded then spun my head to him, "Are you okay too?".

He didn't utter a reply. I guess the question stung him deep by looking at his brooding frame. His eyes look more sullen and his lips sag more into a frown.

It made me realize how much those four words twinge something inside him.

I inched a bit, feeling that my friend might had been carrying loads on his arms. I tend to move my hand on his back, inclining a pat. "If you're not fine, you can... you can tell me what's wrong", I murmured, drawing a worry expression on my face.

It took him a few breaths before saying, "I'm fine... I just need time".

"Time to think?"

His head finally whirls to me. A hint of small smile parted his lips, "I think so".

I nodded.

The bell rings, we eventually exited the school. We're about to join the queue to the school bus when someone honk their car aloud, then yelled, "Anyone knows Amoret Margots?"

***

Hadyn.

"Anyone knows Amoret Margots?", some boyish voice belted.

When I whirled around, I saw Amoret already trampling his steps towards a familiar black car. And when I saw the driver, I was more disappointed than ever.

Why does this guy won't just call Amoret than disturbing all the people here?

Grumbling, I followed Amoret behind.
