Amoret.

I approached him to the sidewalk. "What are you doing here?"

"We've been through some places, and the only place I'm missing to visit is your house", he stated with a wide grin on one corner, enfolding his shades and tucking it in the collar of his grey shirt underneath the jacket.

His pose, and stance, the total look he have now was... a little too wild for me. I blushed in all the hotness he's breeding in. I think the weather gone spring cool to intemperate. Where's the wind billowing just the moment I exited? Gosh, is this boy had superpowers or something?

I combed my hair to the side, averting my gaze. "You should've called me then"

"Well, I don't do calling, you know"

"I should've prepared something special, you know", I emitted, eyeing him. And that's the moment I regretted when my eyes grazed on his. Eyes gleamed and cheeks gone upright as his face expressed glee.

"You don't need to make something special for a friend", he smirked, "Am I special?"

Yeah, probably.

He was so handsome right there that if I'm a photographer, I would shot his posture and this landscape and make it a wallpaper on my phone and—

AMORET, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? ARE YOU NUTS?

Oh.

My head had gone too far. Is this the result of not seeing him for a day? Are you crushing on him now? Geez.

Just a moment ago, I was just fumbling through how my day goes. Evidently playing on my food and staring at nowhere and when he appeared, everything blow out right off my face and positivity shone out of the blue. Like is this feeling normal? Or I have hormonal corruption or something?

I begin walking back the house because I already felt my cheeks burning in embarrassment. Its heat is like a fire from the furnace, making my cheeks strawberry red.

"Is that a yes?", he followed.

"No", I drawled, taking a quick glance on him just as we treaded our way to my house. I opened the door for him, and with poise and grace, I welcomed him like I'm a butler in some mansion.

He snorted and face palmed. "What are you doing?"

"Apparently, welcoming the visitor", I said, open-palmed directing him to the house.

"I still have the chivalry", he stated, "Now you go first".

"And I still have the hospitality", I quipped.

"Come on, are we going to argue this?", his shoulders slumped.

Then the next thing I know is that he put his hands on my shoulders, twist me and pushed me first into the house as he train along behind. I was bewildered when he did that, but I just let him be. Basking on the warmth that his hands bring gives me a minor shivers down my arms and up to my neck.

Even if I'm wearing a loose brown shirt, it still penetrates like he's holding on my bare skin.

I breathed in.

I briskly repelled away from him, cutting off all the sensations and whirl around. I don't want to surrender on those illusions. Please straighten up, Amoret! For your sake!

I gulped, and cleared my throat loudly. "So what are we going to do anyway?", I asked, awkwardness starting to seep in.

"Play hide and seek?"
