This is 'normal' part two, I would suggest reading that before continuing.

Virgil P.O.V

Leaving Logan was one of the hardest things I could do, but, it was also the best thing for me. It's been a few years now, and we still talk, but rarely. Since leaving, I've been job hopping, never able to stay in one place too long. I'm working at a cafe now, my co-worker, Remy, introduced me to this place and told me I should apply for a job. It was just a simple family-run business, but they wanted a few new staff members to help with orders. Remy's boyfriend, Emile, also helped out every now and then, and we had all become pretty good friends.

Third-person P.O.V

Virgil was cleaning up after his shift,  he did another round of cleaning the tables then started with the counters. As he had his back turned from the door, cleaning up any spillages from the coffee machine, he heard the bell ding signalling a new customer. "Sorry, we're about to close, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave," he said without turning around. "How about no?" The person replied, and Virgil smiled, turning around slowly. "Well sir, I guess I would have to escort you out myself," he said, looking the man in the eye. They walked forwards and stood with their elbows on the counter and head resting on their hands, Virgil copied their position. "I don't think you would want to do that to one of your best-paying customers hun," The man said quietly. "I'm sure there would be no problem" Virgil retorted playfully. "Alright you two, stop flirting or get out, you can do that at home" Virgil straightened up and looked over at Remy. "Remyyy, why do you have to ruin it all the time?!" Virgil complained, causing the other men to chuckle. "Its okay babe, Remy's right" Virgil pouted "but Romannn!" He complained. Roman hopped over the counter, earning a scowl from Remy, and wrapped his arms around Virgil's waist. "Come on, I'm not here just to be scowled at, we have that date remember?" Roman said, pressing a kiss to Virgil's cheek. "I know" Virgil sighed. The emo finished cleaning and turned his back to Roman. "Help me?" He said, gesturing to the black apron strings tied around his waist. Roman chuckled as he quickly untied the bow keeping the apron on Virgil, before lifting it off around his shoulders and handing it to his boyfriend. Virgil quickly hung up the apron, before taking Roman's hand softly in his own. "See you later Remy!" Virgil called as he pulled Roman out of the cafe, earning a small "yeah yeah, have fun" in response.

The two walked hand in hand through the streets, bright smiles on their faces. Suddenly, Roman stopped, and Virgil tilted his head in confusion. "Close your eyes" he said to his boyfriend, who obliged cautiously. "And no peeking!" Virgil chuckled and covered his eyes with his hands. He heard slight rustling before he heard Roman say "okay, open them" Virgil opened his eyes to see his boyfriend holding some roses and a bright grin on his face. "Roman, what are you doing?" The emo asked, taking the Roses. "Giving you the best date ever" Roman said, holding out his arm. Virgil took his boyfriend's arm and kissed his cheek. "Well then my prince, lead the way" The emo giggled as he was escorted to a small restaurant, holding Romans arm the whole way there and smiling as they were shown to their seats.

The two day and ordered, sitting talking as they waited for their food and drinks to arrive. Roman playfully threw an olive at Virgil, the emo gasping. Virgil threw one back, giggling quietly as they started an olive fight across the table. Their battle was soon put on hold when a waitress came over with their plates of food. As the two ate, they shared occasional kisses between mouthfuls, soft giggles emitting into the air around them.

After eating and paying for their meals, the couple walked out hand in hand. Virgil giggled softly, feeling Romans hand squeeze his own. They walked for a little, the sun beginning to set. Roman started walking faster, pulling Virgil with him. "Woah!" Virgil laughed, " what's the rush babe!? " Roman chuckled , not giving a straight answer, "you'll see" he replied in a sing-song tone. Virgil simply rolled his eyes, allowing his boyfriend to drag him wherever he needed. The two came to a stop at the edge of a pier, Virgils vision suddenly going dark. "H-hey! What's going on? Roman?!" He called blindly, feeling Romans hold on his hand slip away. The emo heard a giggle he recognised as Pattons behind him. "Pat...?" He said quietly, feeling himself be edged forwards. "Hey kiddo, don't worry, just me" hearing that settled his nerves slightly, but not alot. What if Patton was going to kill him? What if this was all some trick, and he was going to be pushed into the chilly depths of the lake, as his boyfriend watched?

"Okay Pat..." He heard Roman whisper. Virgil was blinded by light as the blindfold was removed from his eyes. When his vision was normal again, Virgil blinked, his eyes settling on his boyfriend, who was standing at the end of the pier. The Prince stood holding the roses from earlier, and behind him stood Janus, Remus, and even Remy. Patton pressed something on his phone, a tune playing, one of which he recognised from a Disney movie he couldn't quite place. (Video above)
"Did i  mention im in love with you?" The prince quoted .
"I met this guy who rocked my world like it's never been rocked" Roman started softly.
"and now I'm living just for him and it won't ever stop," he walked forwards slowly.
"I never thought that it could happen to a guy like me," Roman took Virgils hands.
"but now look at what you've done..." The Prince slowly knelt down.
"you've got me down on my knee" he finished softly.
Virgils eyes slowly welled up. "Marry me, Virge..?" Roman whispered. Virgil glanced around at everyone, earning a small nod from Patton, before his eyes rested on Romans hopeful, yet anxious face. "Yes" Virgil whispered "yes, yes of course I'll marry you!" He exclaimed, throwing himself onto Roman. They stayed in eachothers arms, Virgil moving his hand to cup Romans cheek, before pressing a short, yet sweet kiss to his lips. The others around them cheered as the two of them embraced, caught up in their own magical world of love and passion. Roman slipped a ring onto Virgils finger, holding him close.

Six years later, Virgil and Roman were happily married with two kids. They lived together in a small town, not far from Romans brother, Remus, who had started dating Patton. "Papa! Lily stole my beanie!" Their eleven year old son, Ryland, yelled running into the couples bedroom. "I'm not Lily! I'm Cameron!" The younger sibling yelled, chasing him. The two children climbed into there parents bed, causing Roman to look up from his phone. "Cam, give Ryland his beanie back hun" Roman said, "and Ryland, you know they don't like that name, so apologise please, both of you" Virgil chipped in. "Sorry..." The siblings said at the same time. Roman smiled as he opened his arms, inviting the two to sit on his lap. As they scurried forwards to sit on their father's lap, Virgil chuckled, cuddling up to his husband and children, pressing a short kiss to Romans lips. This was normal, spending mornings with his children and husband. He loved them all dearly. It was normal for the two siblings to argue over something, and then cuddle up to their father. His life married to Roman was happy, and new.

Virgil liked this new normal.

Sorry for not upsetting for awhile, but here is some fluff for the first chapter of the year, hope you enjoyed.

Also, I've got wattpad on my tablet now, so I have a new typing method, which will hopefully speed up my writing :)
