Why Ain't I A Boy

Feeling so odd
In this world
Like a tod
New to life

Asking some men that seem to be five feet higher
"Is everyone's mindset just like mine"
I see surprise in their face
Like i have just murdered their own mindsets

They ask me in confusion
Do you think you are different?
My shoulders rise
And i just say maybe
I don't know

They laugh and laugh
As if it's a joke

I don't understand
So i just take a step back
And wait for their laughter to fall

Then they stop
And say

You are a girl
You will grow to be a woman

A girl or woman that must not have a sound
That is higher than a man

But I doubt
If life was for men
If decisions and everything were for men

So then why did God create us?

I ran to my mother
Crying
My mind is sighing
And my heart is struggling

I ask her
Why am I girl?
Why ain't I a boy, a boy that has every
priority

She blinks several times and says
A girl is the reason men are alive
And men aren't the center of life

Without women there won't be humans no more
Without women nothing will be the same

They will suffer
There will be a hustle and bustle
Everywhere.

So never let a men
Let you think that you are mad
That you are not important
That you don't have a unique mindset.

Every woman is beautiful
Every woman is essential.

Every man is an essential too you know?
But he must treat her rightly
To give her, her rights
And not ask her to thank him for her rights

Gender inequality is a true issue my baby girl
And we,
Women
Are strong enough
To show them how much we matter.
