[Third person's point of view]

The whistle blew and the Fukurodani girls focused on the server from Nohebi. After bouncing the ball a few times, she did a jump float serve and the ball directed towards the other side of the court.

The course of the ball went straight, then all of a sudden, it curved down and hit the net, but made it over to the Fukurodani's surprise.

Seiryuu widened her eyes, and dived for the ball at the very last moment. Although she saved the ball, it was low and nearly impossible to for the others to connect.

Fortunately, thanks to Sora's quick thinking, she used her foot to kick the ball high up. The libero then hit the ball over to Nohebi, and the match continued without letting the ball hit the floor.

"Nice save!" Hanami encouraged and the girls anticipated for their opponent's attack.

"Chance ball!"

"Give it to me!"

"Mine!"

"Seiryuu, here!"

Rallies continued and ended, each team giving it their all to take down the first set. Seiryuu's nerves made it hard for her to move and the girls made a few mistakes.

Seiryuu made the most mistakes but her team mates were understanding since it's her debut match. However, Akaashi's eyes were filled with worry and he was being fidgety.

"Do you think she's okay?" Bokuto asked with his hands clasped together. Akaashi pursed his lips, as if deep in thoughts but actually, he was worried. Nevertheless, he trusted her and answered Bokuto firmly.

"She can do it. They can do it."

To Fukurodani's dismay, they didn't get the first set. Ayame gave them an arrogant scoff when they won the first set, "Nothing's gonna change. You guys are still our stepping stone."

Haruko, the short tempered libero was about to bark back a retaliation when Sora stopped her with a dismissive wave.

"The match hasn't ended yet, I wouldn't be so complacent and laid back like you."

With a huff, Ayame strolled away and the Fukurodani girls gathered. Sora patted Seiryuu's back after seeing her defeated look.

"Now, don't look so glum. Don't let your emotions take over you, stay calm and collected," the captain advised and the setter bit her lower lip, nodding.

"Girls, I believe you've got a rough idea about their playing style. With that, let's take down the second and third set. Let's aim for zero mistakes and victory!" Sora announced and the girls were filled with determination and fighting spirit.

The whistle blew again, signalling that it's time to get back into the court. After both team said their cheers, they returned back to the court.

The Nohebi girls looked relaxed and laid back, while the Fukurodani girls were fired up and their eyes were filled with bloodthirsty looks that screamed 'we're gonna win!'

Ayame noticed that the baby of the team, Seiryuu, looked different compared to the first match. She previously looked like a lost little girl, but now she looked like, an absolute leader, a professional player who's unbeatable.

When they met gazes, Ayame felt a chill run down her spine, an electric shock running on her back. On the other hand, Seiryuu didn't feel intimidated anymore, given her skills, she's actually the best player on the court, surpassing her senpais and opponents, but her nerves suppressed it.

Now that she wasn't nervous or intimidated, she felt free and powerful. Her hands weren't shaking from nervousness, but aching to land a powerful hit on the ball when serving or doing a surprise attack.
