"Ah, I'm so full!" I groaned as we walked out of the fast food restaurant. The taste of nuggets and fries still lingered on the tip of my tongue and I couldn't help but drool again.
"It's your fault for eating so much, and we're not going back for more today," Keiji shattered my dreams and I decided to retort.
"I didn't eat that much, okay?" I emphasised on that keyword. He side glanced me and looked at my bloated tummy, causing me to turn away in embarrassment.
"You ate two burgers and almost a dozen pieces of nuggets, that's not all-"
"Okay, okay, I get it!" I hushed him and sped up my pace to the gymnasium. I could hear his lighthearted laughter behind me and I spun around, holding my hand out to him.
"Hurry, let's go."

"It feels like years ago since I've been here," Seiryuu awed at the crowd and I could see her trembling in excitement.
To me, everything looks normal, nothing out of ordinary. But to her, there were larger crowds around and her eyes often showed curiosity at the different uniforms around us.
I only had a little time left until warm ups, so I grabbed her wrist lightly and led her through the packed area.
"Don't lose your way," I reminded and felt her closing the distance between us because of the crowd. Her side was pressed against mine and her free hand grabbed the hem of my jersey.
I smiled softly at the sight of her being like a little kitten snuggling close to its owner to seek secure. With a firm but gentle grip on her shoulder, I pulled her closer to myself protectively. She looked up at me with a relieved grin and her cheeks tinted pink.
"I have to go now, are you sure you know the way?" I asked as I stopped right at the door to the courts.
"Yes, Keiji. Don't worry too much," she laughed lightly. I nodded from her reassurance and planted a little peck on her forehead. Her cheeks tinted pink, she looked cute.
"S-see you later!" She exclaimed before scurrying off to the stands where most of the spectators have already been seated.

The match started off with a different atmosphere. Even from my position on the court, I could tell that my team mates were radiating a different energy like usual.
We're currently playing the strongest school in Hokkaido. Every one of their player was undoubtedly strong, not to mention their height, they truly surpassed our team.
The captain of their team, the ace, stands out the most. His gaze, his judgement, his wits and his form, he truly defined the meaning of an ace.
I looked at him, then back at Bokuto-san. The difference was like comparing the heavens and the earth.
When the Hokkaido ace was up front, I felt unusually uneasy. Whenever my fingertips are about to contact with the ball, I felt so pressured. The immense about of pressuring didn't just come from the captain, but the whole team.
It feels as if they were trying to say something to us, and it's not anything good.
Their serves were powerful, everyone was either using a jump serve or jump floater. Though our team could do it too, we just weren't at the same level as them.
Is this what it means to be in the Nationals quarter finals?
I didn't know how we managed to do it, but we won the first set. The score was really close though, 25-23.
